I like how you pointed out that TLP is one of the most watched Thai GL this week. It has been for the past few weeks. I’m glad that it’s gaining popularity despite it being released last Aug 2024. Thank you for helping in giving it some exposure. Honestly, TLP is such a gem that I feel bad for those who hadn’t seen it ‘cause they’re missing on something precious.

I personally don’t watch TLP for the plot or the cinematography, I watch it cause every single interaction that Freen and Becky have on screen makes it worth it, they just have a special way to keep you engaged no matter what… I can’t get enough of them, I really hope that Cranium will in fact be released and I can’t wait for Air 🌪️🌪️

I'd like to further clarify the "cousin" issue as has been stated by other commenters. You see, Anin's mother (actually the queen according to the book) and Ueang's mother are blood sisters. It so happened that Ueang's mother married a prince from the northern part of Thailand in Chaing Mai. So that does mean that Anin and Ueang are first cousins. I know you hear it over and over, but we can't say it enough.......Love watching your reactions. Isn't it truly amazing how Freen and Becky have that something really special to be able to convey with their eyes and whole facial expressions every nuance of what a character needs to put across the screen. I noticed it the very first time I watched them in GAP. Then when I saw Secret Crush on You, their first collaboration, it was just so clear. That's the series that caught the attention of IDF. They all just get better every episode.

TLP is like a cup of tea—warm, unhurried, and best enjoyed sip by sip :) A slow burn but lets us savor each step of their relationship. I love this episode so much especially the ending. Great reaction guys!

Did you guys notice: The dialogue Pin said to Anin when she asked for her consent. It was the same sentence she said when Pin made her floral crafts and then Anin put it in her hairs. I think that's why she smiled apart from "that smile" :D. LOL. I find Pin's subtleness so hot

And just for context to tell you that ANIN & UANG ARE COUSINS but it wasn’t unusual for Royal cousins to marry at that time and you also have to remember in Thai culture not your servants but people lower down the line are not allowed to touch so that’s why pin looks away quite a lot because royalty is seen as something that are untouchable in the sense that they are the highest so pin would see herself in many ways like a commoner compared to anin …. there is an inbuilt deference so to speak .

And just remember girls both of them have stated publicly they don’t fake kiss the director just let them do what they do they say that certain scenes are the easiest to do whereas other GL couples find it very difficult? My Freen and Bec DONT

For me, the pinwheel represents Anil’s feelings. It stops when she’s sad and turns again when she’s happy. But in a way, Anil is also the wind, since her name means wind (if I’m not mistaken hehe). I’m not sure if that makes sense, but that’s how I see it.

I really love how they use the pinwheel as a symbol for how their relationship is going. It stops when they’re fighting and goes super fast when they’re really feeling good 😜

Ill be honest i was having a bad day and wasn't sure if it felt like watching this today but so glad I did! It gave me the total feels. I hardly ever cry but today is my dad's anniversary of him passing and I was crying with Uang cuz I felt her pain. But you both also had me busting out laughing with your reactions also. You always seem to cheer me up and lift my spirits when I need it the most. That's why I love this channel and you both so much. Thank you.

this is one of my favorite episodes and it's bec. of that romantic love confession from Anin, i really love her lines. how she is so patient with Pin and let's her realize it herself. the tension and the gazes were so heavy and i love their eye acting so much. Pin doesnt have much dialogue but her eyes speaks for her. Anin as well, when she was sick in her bedroom and Pin started to wipe her face. You can clearly see the shift of Anin's face from anger to longing. The moment Pin's hand touched her it's like it dissipates the hurt Anin felt from being ignored. And i just love that entire scene so much, probs my fave scene out of the entire series.

One of the details I like in this episode is when Pin keeps starting and stopping running to see Anin when she returns. Pin is always so proper, and running would definitely break decorum. She's so excited to see Anin. I just think it's adorable.

The costumes, though! I love the period setting in The Loyal Pin. The language, the gentility, the dialog; they're all fantastic and pump up the romance to 11. Great reaction, dudes!

This episode + MD's reaction? FIRE! First things first, I loved how Meesh and Dee disagreed in the beginning on whether Anin should pursue Pin or not after their kissing-101-night-class. It was a "give her some space" and "don't let it simmer" kind of barter between them which I enjoyed. I am a sucker for romance: movies, series, books, fanfics... Give it to me. May I just say the love definition in this episode is unmatched! It is so plain yet covers all basic (un)boundaries of the feeling. The morning to night reference... The linger... The soft jealousy... The protection instinct... All was there in its simplest form. Whether it is straight from the novel or written in the scenario... It's perfection. One thing which awes me in this episode is the spirit of Anin; it blows me away. Becky kills it in the confession scene; her looks when Pin (sort of) turns her down was out of this world, I bet it gave everyone an absolute heartbreak. Anin was truly devastated then and I don't think she had any hope thinking 'let me give her some more time and space, she'll know soon enough'. The disappointment and acceptance was there. But when she returned from the funeral and meeting Pin first time after that 'closure' night, she seemed joyful to see Pin again. Not an ounce of resentment, defeat or reserved manners... She was all friendly accepting whatever Pin has to offer for her. It is hard/impossible to absorb such a rejection and continue facing that person - this shows an extra admirable layer of Anin's character. MD, who are you kidding? We know you already watched Episode 6 right after this one. You guys rock! 🔥

Love this episode! I love how beautifully they dealt with Pin coming to terms with her feelings, just quiet contemplation. When I was growing up a lot of shows just showed self hate and anger when it came to coming out scenes. This one didn’t even feel like a coming out scene it was just her realising her feeling for someone and gender wasn’t important. When Freen and Becky made Gap they both said that they didn’t see it as a GL they just saw it as a love story between two people

I lost it when Dee saw the drawing and thought it looked like her! 😂

This episode was so well done. It introduces the hair pin from the credits and Pin admits to loving Anin. Slow but very satisfying.

Everytime I see Anin taking her shirt off while Pin looks away, I just start laughing. 🤣 The way they look at each other is one of the things that make their scenes feels so intimate, and their chemistry just shine in those moments, like, how not to blush? I love the last scene of the episode because they are so tender and soft with each other, the little smiles from Pin when Anin is kissing her cheeks, her nose and lips, Anin's patience and confidence ("who did you say you belong to?" HAAAA 😍), all this makes me giggle. 😊 This damn cliffhanger tho. The fandom was SO FRUSTRATED when it aired, twitter was in chaos ! 🤣🤣🤣 Can't wait for episode 6 !

Anil is the greenest green flag. Articulated her feelings so well, so patient and so charming. People were so frustrated with Pin not knowing, but it is realistic for the era, and I love they took time for Pin to figure it out. Anil like you loves jealous and possessive Pin🤭 i personally really love the last part where Pin confessed. The mood was very romantic. Perhaps we didnt have any spoilers or expectations, so we got to really appreciate the slow scene. Though I remember everyone was throwing their mouse at the screen as we cant believe they ended it there (after a long wait😅) we were cursing the company all week. So a blessing for you. You dont need to wait that long. Pls drop ep6 soon😋
