In fact I have to say that the director of TLP, also love design and four elements. TLP is the first GL series film directed by this director. In an interview earlier, he said that FB's love scenes taught him a lot. He didn't know that the emotions between girls could be like that and so on, similar to this, the descriptions of love scenes in the script are only in general terms and do not specify exactly how to do it. Girls have said that when they shoot love scenes, they follow their own feelings. So love scenes are the simplest part for them. Therefore, most of the love scenes they shoot are decided by themselves, and they don't need to rehearse in advance. This is the special feature of FB.

My only criticism of this series is that I really wish they wouldn’t have added those cringy sound effects to their kiss scenes! It was just so unnecessary IMO bc the scenes were already sexy enough without…If anything the sound effects only detracted from scenes that would’ve been otherwise perfect🤌🏼

I saw on another video that Becky actually plays tennis IRL so that’s why she looked so good in that scene. I think I also heard that Freen was sick that day. When you watch it you can see she looks a little pale and out of it at times. Poor thing. I’m pretty sure they go through the blocking for the love scenes, but the kissing and details are all just Becky and Freen. They had a couple French kisses, as Anin says, in Gap that I remember, but they look even more natural in their kissing in loyal pin. Can’t wait to see your next reaction! 😊

How do you passionately kiss your scene partner without falling for them? That’s a loaded question. Personally, I believe FB are method actresses - they act with real emotions… the "characters’" feelings in that moment 😏 They’ve said many times that they feel extremely comfortable with and trust each other deeply. Compared to heavy drama scenes, intimate scenes are actually the easiest for them to film, and they don’t feel embarrassed at all (except when reacting to themselves they turn into tomato🍅 🤭) Honestly, in my opinion, the girls just genuinely enjoy kissing each other, okay? And it’s no secret that they’re very clingy with one another, especially when they’re tired. You can see it again and again-they truly look after each other, give each other energy, and are clearly one another’s safe space and comfort zone 🥹

Anin go soo smooth because she is making sure that Pin accept what she is doing, that's why she look at pin before going further... And because Pin doesn't reject her, she continues...

Fun fact: When EP 4 aired, Becky said in an interview that she and Freen thought this kiss scene was “very basic.” BASIC?! We were all shocked…

I think the most critical differentiator of FB chemistry with other couples is their history. Trying and observing chemistry of two people during auditions is of course different than recognizing it from afar and (re-)pairing them. FB naturally looks close and feels comfortable with each other. While making GAP was debatably a gamble, casting the duo was not - it was the safest bet. As for Pin’s jealousy, it did not hit me as awkward when I watched this the first time. I would not even be bothered to see Pin getting jealous over Anin’s mother. To me, Pin’s feelings (although unnamed, ununderstood…) were purely platonic since childhood. The draw to be near and with Anin was too powerful for her but she always kept resisting (by keeping her distance at times, not contributing Anin’s misdeeds or pretending to complain when Anin wants to be with her (for example the going to school car scene)) Her resistance is perhaps based on the cast system instead of unknowns of the sensations igniting. Imagine how at ease we all are with our best friends with closeness and random touching. Now imagine Pin never/rarely allowed/let herself allow to do that. Not even when you send your best friend away for 7 years (not even a hand shake let alone a hug)… Not even when she comes back after 5 years… Of course she would be jealous of anyone who stands close to her whether they are maids, parents, brothers, cousins… It perhaps is not only their proximity and presence - it’s their ‘dare’ or ‘right’ to be close to Anin. A distance Pin always tried/forced to maintain.

Both Freen & Becky, as well as the director said it interviews that they will just be given some directions like blocking/camera angles and what the characters were supposed to be feeling in that moment then Freen & Becky will do their thing (kisses/love scenes). They mentioned in multiple interviews during Gap & TLP that when they do kissing scenes/love scenes, they just go with the flow and what their characters were feeling..That's why these scenes with Freen & Becky looked so natural among all the GLs. Some GL pairs said in some of their interviews that they talk it out or workshop the scenes prior but Freen & Becky rarely does that too. If you watch the BTS of TLP (they're on IDF yt channel, if you want to watch them), they showed a few rehearsals but it was mostly about the blocking. And what's more amazing is whenever they shoot kissing scenes/love scenes (accdng to FB), yes they shoot multiple angles but they get it in 1 take per angle. 🤭😅😏

My first GL was Gap and I was already hooked and wanted more of them, but it was The loyal Pin that made me a die hard fan of them. And after so many other GL series and couples, I'm still a FreenBecky fan.

HAAAAAAA !!! Finally the first kiss ! About Freenbecky, you are spot on : they do have such a big fanbase and we love them so much because we can see and feel how genuine their chemistry and relationship is on and off screen. I think there is more spicy kisses in Gap (in the pool for example), BUT this one gives so much butterflies, and it's their first kiss, so there is room to improve 😉 And all their kisses and intimacy scenes are improvised for most of the time, that is why it feels very real : fun fact, in both Gap and TLP, we have confirmation from both directors that when they told them multiple time "cut!" during those scenes, Freenbecky never stopped right away, they were too in the moment. 😆 PS : the kisses noises are not the best, no one understand why the felt the need to not use the real sounds, so just endure it. 😅

He wasn't sure how to "teach" them when it comes to NC scenes cuz this was his first GL series, so he demonstrated what he needed by bringing a stuff toy to the set & explained it through that lol. He just basically told them the rundown of the script & camera blocking & the girls did their own improvisation when it comes to intimate scenes. All the NC scenes are FreenBecky's freestyle lol. There was this one NC scene I forgot what episode, he basically told the girls not to go too far or to tone it down, but it didn't come out that way lol. If anything, he was surprised cuz he didn't think the girls will go all out lol. Fun fact again, he was Pin's dad here laying down lol.
