FMAB Ep. 3 | Full Length Reaction

THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sync Guidelines

Our videos are edited in a watch-along format, which means you’ll need your own copy of the film or show to sync with us.

We will always count down 3… 2… 1… START — press play exactly when we say “Start” to stay in sync.

To follow copyright laws and give you the best viewing experience, our reactions must be paired with your own copy of the content. We take copyright very seriously, which is why we do not provide full uncut episodes or movies. Even if you see other creators doing it, that doesn’t make it legal — sharing full studio content crosses into a copyright gray area that we’re not willing to risk for our channel.

Here are some recommended ways to watch along with ease:

• Dual Monitor Setup:

If you’re on a PC, using two monitors allows you to keep the reaction and your show/movie visible side by side.

• Split-Screen Viewing:

Most devices — laptops, tablets, and even some phones — allow split-screen mode so you can watch both videos together.

Using these methods will help you stay perfectly in sync and get the smoothest, most immersive reaction experience. 😊

Yeah, so basically the thing with the law of equivalent exchange is every time Ed transmutes something "out of nothing", he's using the wall, the floor, or something he's holding, and turning those molecules into whatever he needs. When he creates a spear from the ground, for example, it will leave a pit in the ground where he has removed rock or soil, and turned that rock or soil into wood and metal for the weapon. When they were trying to bring back their mother, they gathered all the chemicals that make a human body *physically*. But what do you use to exchange for a human soul?

Its gon be a bit later on about that "stone", its a build up. The first couple episodes are making viewers get used to what and how alchemy is used and just how versatile it is in this world, but stay tuned! I wished we got this in our world the convenience of alchemy around the house 😅

@meesh they were doing exchange of the molecules around them. So when they are turning rock into spears, or air moisture to ice etc. all of it equivalent exchange (it's just basic chemistry), it's not just about human transmutation, it's for ANY transmutation. Edit: nevermind you caught on to that. A "fake" philosopher stone is like saying "temu item" or "wish item" , i.e it's garbage quality sold as if it's the real deal. It can be useful for some short lived things, but it's not long lasting, and easily just a throw-away item.

Ummm... Al lost his whole body and Edward lost his leg for trying to bring back his mother ... than he offered his arm for Als soul... also the stone being fake means it has power but not like a real one, ergo its just a fake.. think of it like a fake Rolex it works it shows you the time but after 2 months it may fall off from your hand.. :D

from what i understood, the "arm" tradeoff wasn't to transmute AL's soul from nothing or bringing it back from the dead. It was still the same transmutation session, and Al was ABOUT to die fully, and edward was barely able to BIND alphonse's soul to the armor the was next to him, before it fully went away. That's why the cost seems "trivial" (i say that loosely, but a full soul for an arm is not a good trade ithink, but just the act of BINDING that existing soul to an armor, for a lost arm? The Truth God might have accepted THAT trade)
