Attack on Titan: Openings & Endings Reaction ⚔️

i know AOT is already over but i recommend you check Hiroyuki Sawano / Project【emU】 “Attack on Titan” suite in YT. A suite of music for the soundtrack of AOT which is the work he composed, recorded and filmed in the studio with the original vocalists and musicians.

For those who didn’t know, in Under the Tree, its actually Mikasa walking Eren’s head to the tree…

When the ending for Season 2 came out, even all the manga readers were like “wtf is this” 😂

"Is this about Eren and Mikasa?" *Insert "Always has been" meme* Also dee you mentioned a couple of times that the songs seemed written for the show Thats because they are Its an original soundtrack

Just gonna drop my S-Tier here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAuwzw_5JU4&list=RDUAuwzw_5JU4&start_radio=1

@24:22 the manga had not even gotten to that part yet. S2 came out in 2017. There was no way for anyone to have possibly deduced that image, because the chapter that Maria, Rose, and Sina are revealed to have eaten Ymir didn't publish until 2019.

Its funny to see Dee trying to put on captions near the end when the lyrics has been there since the beginning within the videos XD I fear she might have missed out on 90% of the lyrics, which is kind of a bummer since that's what we're mostly looking forward to on your reactions to these, but nothing to cry about, great reactions nonetheless! You also mentioned how some songs were literally written for the show, but ALL of them were! For some of them you kind of have to figure out whose POV it is (a lot of them were eren and mikasa's but there was also armin's) One fun fact: in the song "To You in 2000 Years... Or Perhaps... 20,000 Years" where we see mikasa crying with eren's grave under the tree, that first half of the song was sung by mikasa's and eren's voice actors. You hear mikasa sing from the beginning until it shows her laying on her deathbed and her singing stops as she has passed away.

Tremendo!! <3 <3 <3

Not sure if someone else commented but 56:45 when you ask who is visiting with Mikasa...I have seen others say it's actually Jean. Apparently they got together at some point after Eren's death. I am not 100% certain of this but I've seen a lot of people claim this so I assume maybe it's from manga or something else.

Since you guys mentioned ED 7 (Akuma No Ko/A Child of Evil) is one of your faves, I suggest you watch the full mv it's even more emotional in my opinion haha: https://youtu.be/WPl10ZrhCtk?si=1YTEL4O3Bta0-iQS Whenever I miss the show I watch it because it's like a mini recap as well lol

Ill consider posting this on discord, but hopefully theres a chance of a demon slayer season x season reaction with the 1st/3 films coming up. Season 2 and 3 of demon slayer are true jpop bangers!

What's interesting is that in the "Yuugure no Tori" season 2 ed., all the teasers you mentioned, for example, the whole part with King Fritz and the rumbling teaser, this hasn't been in the manga yet, which could also be interesting for readers who watched the anime. PS: Watch project Emu its really good) :)

so i noticed that you girls were watching the animations and music a lot but missed some of the lyrics (not your fault, it's hard to keep up), but if you went back and actually read some of those lyrics, you can see easter eggs of future episodes. For example one of the lyrics in season 3 is talking about "kids clutching to their coin to the very last second" foreshadowing the 2 refugee kids that were crushed by eren when they were trying to save up money to get out of the refugee camp etc. And if you go back to some of your S-Tier songs of S3/S4, andput the perspective of what Eren and Mikasa are saying to eachother, you can see that this is a tragic love story of how eren wanted love, wanted to save his friends, but had to leave his own wishes behind and let go of his own freedom and dreams in order to save the others so that THEY can live... especially the falco song. If you think about it, Falco represents the innocence that Eren was robbed of (by future eren), and how Eren, through falco's eyes, is saying "please make sure to tell the world, that no matter what happens, i love you all, and i EXISTED, i LIVED, and please dont FORGET ME, even if you dont FORGIVE ME, because i'm doing all of this for you." The lines of the rumbling themselves also are Eren's inner psyche that we were denied of the entire season 4 : eren's screaming that the rumbling is coming, it has to come, but even if he never wanted to be a king, he has to keep fighting and hold that burden alone, because he never wanted to grab a knife (callback to when he grabbed a knife and saved mikasa from the kidnappers, but also a current callback to him not wanting to grab the rumbling but he HAS to, and subconsciously needs to, to save their lives). That being said, I'm sure you caught most of these, but it was hard to tell during the reaction itself from an outsider viewer, so ya'll did great with the reaction and you definitely FELT those moments, but i figured i'd write a couple of them down so that you can get a chance again to actually feel the lyrics not just the songs and the animation :D PS: in the rumbling when Eren screams BEWAAARE while turning from regular kid eren to the war-torn eye-patch eren and then turning into the founder skeleton titan always sends shivers down my spine. BTW, fun fact, go watch the scene when Eren kisses historia's hand and unlocks the memories of what happened and what he's going to do: the necklace that Historia gives Eren IS the founding titan's skeleton form from the rumbling if you look at it with Historia's "gown" behind it. . Here, I found an image of it: https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fl2see3ef95va1.png I have a dozen of these roster "fun facts" if you want to see them btw. PS: watch Project Emu on youtube as a reaction please!!! <3 , it's about 19 minutes of the songs of attack on titan done by an orchestra similar to The First Take, where they do the whole thing in 1 shot without interruptions

First of all great reactions. I'm glad I got to watch you guys react to AoT. I also really enjoyed you guys reacting to these awesome intros and endings. I can't wait to join you guys again for Frieren Season 2 starting on Jan 16th of 2026 because that is going to be awesome. 😁👍 P.S. My only complaint here is that someone should of directed you guys to the SiM official music video for "Under The Tree" because that video does a better job of conveying the sentiments of the song than simply watching Mikasa's feet walk along for that ending. The itself song is written from Mikasa's perspective while "The Rumbling" is written from Eren's perspective and I believe the song "Red Swan" (Intro from the first part of Season 3) is from Armin's perspective. However this is just me being picky. "SiM - UNDER THE TREE (Full Length Ver.) Anime Special Ver." https://youtu.be/IPX-L2F78fU

19:00, IF you would have seen all the animals running around in the intro, i remember: at the time Meesh had the theory that the "monkey/beast" titan was the "original" titan, and that might have sent Meesh down the rabbit hole that the people inside created an experiment to try to make titans but the "real" titans were deviations from "animals" not "humans" as the REAL naturally-evolved titans vs experimental-titans. And see, this is why we didn't recommend watching the intro, so that you don't get confused by foreshadowing from 3 seasons down the line :P

Idk how this hasn't been recommended (unless it has) but you guys should check out the Attack on Titan suite. It's them performing a select choice of songs in the studio. You get to see the singers and their ridiculous vocals. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6Fl1Xl1ogg

Red Swan.🥲
