Only one episode left :( , but yessss , the last episode is supposed to air on the 22nd !!!! 💪 This week's Publicly Available Info {No Spoilers}: " Why, Essek, Why? " === > Deirta (Essek's mom) has typhros. which means that by the laws of the dynasty's religion, her Consecution must be removed and she executed, [she will die permanently no matter if the beacon is near or not]. Upon realizing that Essek is responsible for the beacon theft, Verrat gives him a day (out of respect for him and his mother) to turn himself in, which means certain death for Essek .... Since Deirta heard their conversation, she knows that by immediately confessing her disease to the Bright Queen, she herself will be executed permanently.... BUT Removing Essek's need to find a cure for her & give him a chance to "do the right thing" .... To retrieve the beacon [her last request😭], and thus maybe save not only his people, but himself. Deirta's plan works rather well except the fact that Verrat still seems pretty set on exposing Essek's crime. At his point, Essek doesn't have a lot of options. if exposed, he will die and the beacon is forever lost {since he is the only one from the dynasty that stands a chance to get it back}. Essek chooses to pin the theft on Verrat (maybe partially blames Verrat and the dynasty's religion as the reason his mom had to die), getting Verrat cruelly permanently executed [that was so sad, Verrat won't get to experience fatherhood now😥] ...... And now Essek is cleared of any suspicion and can attempt to retrieve the beacon. <=== " Caleb's Power Level " ===> (+) A bit of clarification regarding Caleb's powers .... In his Volstrucker days , he was technically Much More Powerful (on par with Astrid & Edwulf) . It is not yet explained how exactly, but his powers were Indeed dramatically reduced ("taken") by Trent , after Caleb went " Insane " . At this point of the story , in his words , he can do " A fraction of what he could previously do " .... (+) Caleb's Summoned cat is not the same cat that was his childhood cat that died in the fire :( It is a spell called "Find Familiar " which lets the caster summon a small spirit that takes the form of a small animal that the caster chooses , In Caleb's case it takes Frumpkin's original form since I suspect it provides Caleb a bit of comfort 🥺 , but it is unfortunately not his original cat. <=== Great Catch on all the weird blood eyes tattoos /Molly related stuff , you guys are on top of that !!!!
