AOT was def one of my favorite shows of all time. I started watching it all the way back to Season 1 release and waiting between seasons was crazy. Watching your reaction was like watching it all over again and that post-credit scene I saw for the first time, it was insane. All that fighting didn't ultimately prevent the war, but I'd like to think they got a long period of peace at least. Thank you for your great reaction!

Was one of the og watcher from episode 1 in 2013, a whole family change later and I’m still watching reactions. My 5 year old daughter asked me “what’s a titan” because she heard it from my car audio of you guys saying it while picking her up from daycare. And I’m like eh… one day I’ll tell you but not yet 😂

It's like Eren is in a constant loop and always only realises it when he kisses Historia's hand, thus becoming fully self-aware. Any version of Eren before that moment was just innocently walking through life, not knowing that his future self was playing chess the entire time; but it was always his desire since birth. Amazing journey!

Why am I only finding put about this post post credit scene now?🙊 At the time I watched this the movie wasn't out and I didn't know they later added a little something more😭 I didn't see any reactors post that new scene reaction, so this was exciting

Aot still makes me ugly cry. Especially that scene with Mikasa sobbing by the tree never fails to get me😭💔 And to think his head is buried in the exact spot, and position, that he was sleeping in at the beginning of the show....face turned upwards towards the sky...."I feel like I had a long dream."

RIP Dee, bless her for that emotional struggle😂. It’s been so amazing to relive this journey with you guys. Hands my favorite anime off all time. There’s a lot of controversy with the ending. I think, it’s because of people’s misunderstanding of erens character, his motives, and the ending this story was telling. But even with no complete analysis video from you guys, I can tell you guys saw the vision and beauty/tragedy this story had to offer. Truly a masterpiece. Love you guys and the passion and energy you bring to your content and shows you react too. This is for sure the most emotional ride I’ve been with you guys so far. To be clear though, that vision Mikasa had before killing eren was from eren. He was showing her the future of what could’ve been if Mikasa told him how she really felt in the episode before the specials. I also think people didn’t like the ending due to when armin was asking eren the big questions that everyone else was thinking in the paths, he didn’t really have an answer. Yes, it’s not satisfying for us, but I think it’s further telling how broken and tragic erens character really is. Imagine having your past and future, and comprehending those the same way you do with the present, at the exact same time all at once!?! Eren dealing with all this with no ancient, descending knowledge or preparation. Just a kid who was bestowed with the power to change the world. It’s gonna be blurry, broken, inconsistent, but in the end.. the outcome reveals exactly what he wanted. Yes it dosent end the cycle of war, and he admits that. But all he wanted was to end it long enough so the people he knew and cared about can live their lives in peace. There is one scene that caught my eye in the beginning of the 4th season in the declaration of war when tybr is giving his speech. Tbyr says “I do not wish to die, because I was born in this world”. Which is exactly what Eren says to zeke and armin. Eren saying to zeke, “because I was born in this world”. And Eren saying to armin, “I don’t wanna die”. I believe when Eren heard Tybr say that, he heard himself, which is why he gave a shocked look. Tybr then following up with “we should unite as one and face this evil for the people who envision a better future”. After hearing that, it cuts back to Eren smiling almost as a sign of relief. It’s exactly what he wants, he’s come to a realization that in order to obtain the free world he wants, he has to sacrifice himself. He’s willing to martyr himself and focus 2,000 years of hate on to himself and better the future of the people he cares about. A lot of people also hate the ending because of the end credits. Showing war continue. Seeing that led to people believing with war still going on, Eren did all he did for nothing, which isn’t true. If anything it proves him right by him saying to armin that “this conflict will never end”. The cycle of war is inevitable. humans will always find a reason to start a war, with or without the existence of titans. I also do wanna point a very sad detail.. throughout the show, you can see erens eye color change from time to time. That is no animation error. But because this story is being told by the narrative of armin many years in the future, the creator confirmed that the inconsistent detail to his eyes was due to armin not remembering erens face since so much time had passed😭😭.

I fear I haven't found an anime that topped AoT, the story, characters, call backs, relatability, real-life comparisons/lessons, it was incredible. I have no idea how this all spawns from one person's head.

This reaction has, hands down, been my favourite reaction of a show ever. You guys really cooked with your theories even though you keep saying you overcooked. And even if you guys did get all your theories wrong I think it would have been just as interesting because of how much you added to the viewing experience with your reaction. Dee's emotions were like a reflection of my own emotions while watching the show and Meesh with her theories and predictions was how I wish I could have cooked when I first watched it as well. That after credits scene from the movie isn't cannon. It was based on a series of gag panels from the manga. It was just there to give something extra to people who went to go see the movie. Just a fun little bonus.

Btw, Armin's parents were murdered by the military police men who killed pastor Nick. They showed it in an episode where they revealed they also killed Erwin's Dad.

And yes, Isayama did Lesbian Ymir dirty. Had Marcel and Galliard looking fresh asl while my girl was out here looking crazy.

What's sad is that when the show starts, Eren was lying down IN THE EXACT SPOT where his grave is. And he woke up with tears in his eyes. In the alternate "potential" timeline, Mikasa is the one that woke up crying. Both felt like it was a dream, of inevitability.

This year alone, I’ve watched it at least five times (because I was also watching other reaction channels). It used to be in my top 10—since I had only seen it once as a teenager, and the long waits between seasons kept it there—but now it’s in my top 3, only below Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (two anime I truly love with all my heart and rewatch religiously every single year). I understood the story and its message much better this time. I watched it with a more mature perspective, not just focusing on the beautiful, epic, and smooth animation, but on the heart, effort, and love put into this masterpiece. And that’s why I want to thank you so much for truly appreciating this anime—every detail, every theory, every reaction… girls, you’re the best!!! 🤞🤞

King Fritz told Ymir to serve him forever, Ymir told herself to hold on that love, Zeke told Ymir to hold on to that loyalty, Eren told Ymir to hold on to that rage, But only Mikasa's actions told Ymir to LET GO of it all.

To think if Eren didn't have plot armour, Gabi would have literally saved 80% of humanity with her sniper shot. I don't remember exactly how this differs from the original manga ending, but people were angry with that one, basically mirroring Armin's reactin in the movie end credit scene, but I mostly just saw positive reaction to the anime ending. Then there was that subreddit that was basically IRL Jeagerists who made talking about AoT online impossible for like a year after lol.

So bitter sweet that it's all over, but I'm just so relieved you guys didn't get any spoilers ! This series is honestly some of the best written fiction ever and I really enjoyed rewatching it with you guys ! It's really such an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish and this finale definitely needs some time to let all the emotions settle to really come to a conclusion on your overall feelings of it. Levi, even when injured is still forever THE GOAT and I'll repeat it as many times as I have to: no better written main character than Eren fucking Jaeger ! I'm super excited for you guys to watch FMAB as it is also another one of the top tier level animes out there. I know you guys mentioned it's hard not to compare everything else to AOT but I think the best thing you guys can do moving forward is just to remember that all anime give off completely different vibes. That hopeless, gritty, raw feel that you get while you watch AOT, is soooo different from FMAB and it's honestly really difficult to compare them fairly even if you tried. It's like how Demon Slayer is so hype, epic and badass, it makes you feel way different than when you watch AOT. All great anime but just completely different feelings. Hope that makes sense. I can't wait till the Demon Slayer movie comes out on Crunchyroll, I already know you two are going to absolutely love it !! :)
