Sync Guidelines
Videos are edited in watch-along style format, so you will need your own copy of the film/show to sync with us.
*We will count down 3...2...1... START. Press play right when we say "Start" for accurate syncing. We are still in the process of figuring out time codes*
To ensure compliance with copyright laws and to enhance your viewing experience, our reaction videos require synchronization with your own copy of the content. Here's a detailed guide to seamlessly sync your viewing:
Pausing and Playing: Due to the length of the movie, we may have taken a couple of pauses/breaks. This means you may need to sync up your copy of the movie/show again. We will give a verbal countdown such as "3, 2, 1... Start." You should click "start" on your copy of the show to sync again. We tried to minimize any cuts/pauses but just in case you need to re-sync, you can follow the subtitles from the video and sync with your copy.
Dual Monitor Setup: Utilize a dual monitor PC setup for simultaneous viewing of both screens.
Split Screen Viewing: Employ the split-screen function on your device to watch the reaction and your show/movie side by side.
Connectivity Options: Consider Chromecast/screen-sharing or HDMI connection to a TV, allowing for a larger display of one screen while using another device for the reaction video.
These methods facilitate a connected and immersive reaction viewing experience, ensuring you're perfectly in sync with our content. 😊

Just an incredible episode
The fact that a FULL episode, that doesnt even have the "hype" intro, is PURELY just people TALKING... and it's one of the best episodes in anime, just shows how good this show's writing is. Think of so many animes if they were just talking, you'd call it filler or just itching for a fight scene or drama, but no. The show's telling you something interesting with this random episode insert: it used to tell you and the allies to "Tatakae! Fight!" alllll the time in Eren's INNER monologue. Now the show's showing a full episode of people telling their truths in their OUTER monologues to EACHOTHER, the enemies included. Laying it all on the table, instead of close to heart. And it just lets you immerse yourself in that quiet, in that truth while also sneakily doing a "previously on" implicitly when Yelena aired out everyone's baggage so that everyone is reminded with the motivations, boons AND banes of every single person in that circle, on both sides. So instead of every side focusing on the bad of the other side, while seeing themselves as the "good" people. It flips the script, where everyone sees themselves as an undeserving "bad" person, but ultimately brings out the better of eachother instead by being reminded what's at stake, but also what they share in common, vs what they have in differences. Bceause this world IS cruel, but it can also be beautiful, like this random slice of life therapy session moment.
I will say one thing. AoT IS my favorite anime of all time. Yes. But let's not discount Demon Slayer for what it's GOOD at : it's a great GATEWAY anime for most. If we asked you to watch AoT right off the bat with the mom being eaten by Dinah Titan right off the bat, and the show having SO MUCH LORE with not "as" much action as other shows sometimes? And ask you to just "accept the mystery", you might not have been able to truly enjoy this show or anime at all. Demon Slayer acts as a nice gateway anime to learn how anime works, GET USED TO READING SUBTITLES, and it has SOME lore/mystery and intrigue, but is Flashy enough to make Tengen himself proud with gorgeous animations AND good emotional beats. Is it the same quality as AoT for me? Story wise? absolutely not. and that's coming from someone who LOVES DS and has posters of it all over my house, and Zenitsu/Rengoku as my phone background. But Demon Slayer has that "intro" quality and STILL is gorgeous and fun. (and i wont even mention the newerst beautiful movie, but even Mugen train is one of my favorite movies of all time) So for those who hate on DS in favor of AoT, just know that as a fellow AoT=Number1 fan, we wouldnt have many of us AoT people if not for intro/gateway animes that made us appreciate AoT's beauty and story so much more :)
Jean did not apologized to Reiner btw
Notice they are sitting in the forest physically, trying to talk about a way to get out of it figuratively (Mr. Brauss)
Jean and Reiner always in my top 3
One of the interesting layers in that episode is that while they’re talking around the campfire (in the middle of a forest), the “camera” keeps cutting to branches and leaves. A lot of people say it was a choice to cheapen the animation for that episode (and I wouldn’t doubt it), but it’s clearly a reference to Sasha’s father’s speech about “getting the young people out of the forest”—that forest of hatred that, in his view, took his daughter. “Night of the End” is, without a doubt, therapy. One of the most beautiful episodes in the entire show. Twenty-two minutes of pure dialogue that I rewatch all the time and still get emotional exactly the same way.
i was going to say that but you said it, so i'll make a separate post to talk about something else. But what's interesting is that once their truths came out, the burdens of those "children in the forest", the next scene, in the cart, both the warriors/marleans AND the scouts are now riding together OUT of the forest, in an open field, signifying what Mr Brauss said.
Yeah, every single time I hear that line from Jean , "Hange, ..I'm forever a scout", I tear up. Also, Hange is so good at talking shit without making it obvious. When she stops Jean from arguing with Maggoth and she's like, "Jean, the general just doesn't understand us. To him we're these island devils, yet these very island devils are giving up their own opportunity for paradise in order to save the world that wants to kill them." That's me paraphrasing but to me that line of dialogue from her is bars. It's like, "Yeah, keep calling us island devils when we're giving up an opportunity to finally have peace to stop Eren and save the world that hates our race and wants us all killed."
I agree. Jean is such a good but underrated character. He has really developed as a character while still retaining some of the good core personality traits he had in season 1. Lastly, you two didn't peep out who Jean was fantasizing about as his baby's momma at the start of this episode? 😆
if i know what they were thinking at the time, i'm willing to bet my last chocolate chip cookie that for a second, Dee was thinking this was a flashback for baby eren, probably even had a micro second thought that maybe it's the dad of historia's baby and then was also thinking about Jean's voice maybe being in bakcground, and trying to figure out who's scenery is that to realize that Jean was still fantasizing about being an MP with Mikasa inside, similar to S1 Jean's "fantasy" And meesh was probably wondering if this is a flash forward, or flashback, or time-related scene, and trying to identify clues in the imagery, so much so that she probably didn't register the face of mikasa as the mother to Jean's "dream life", (at least on first watch), of "What could have been if he just decides to stop being a scout" And instead, Jean ...he's forever a scout, and is willing to sacrifice that dream life he wanted to do what's right.
this is one of my favorite episodes of the show <3
me too
Tremendo! <3
