nah. The Subs have had such better quality than all the dubs... They're watching dubs on their onw for racaps to get both experiences, but let's not kid ourselves that the dubs had any quality anywhere near the real original VAs in japanese. PS: i dont hate dubs and im not a sub elitist. For example Solo Leveling dub is actaully pretty decent (except the tusk VA was atrocious), and demon slayer is ..fiiine, and AoT Erwin had a good dub, but titan eren had bad dub... and FMAB i think might be the only anime i know of where the english dub is probably on par with japanese dub,... so i can chose good and bad VAs but hte consistency of japanese VAs vs english dubs is significantly clear that original Japanese VAs are doing much better quality than english VAs who USUALLY sound like they're just doing the same voice for a pay check.. not always, but usually.
How is Jojo so low ;-;
Actual hot take: People watch anime by binging it and thus a popularity poll is terrible at gauging how well a show fits a react format. Hope that I'm wrong, but I want to see how many people voting FMA:B will be here 40 episodes from now, and I'm saying that as someone who loves the anime. (and I would say the same about HxH even though it's in my top 5)
I only want FMA if it’s Dubbed. It’s the only anime that I think the dub is superior.

FMA is the correct and completely impartial answer. It is excellent from beginning to end, honestly one of the greatest anime ever made.
Man for me black clover, SAO, Tokyo Ghoul all deserve a chance at some point down the line even though they won’t win here
hot take here: but i think that SAO is underrated (people give up too early because of u know what) and Tokyo Ghoul ANIME is OVERRATED 9even though i did like some episodes in it a lottt). I haven't watched black cover YET, but my brother tells me it's good and i'll be watching it after i catch up to the new reactions lmao. But i agree that these shows will all struggle to find footing against other "classics". One of my favorite channels for example lost the "apothecary diaries" battle to Death Note just because "its a classic" even though a lot of people agree the premise was good but fell off hard. u know?
1) FMAB absolutely. It's opening songs are amazing and it has great fights and character developments. Made me cry multiple times and rewatch it even more. 2) HunterXHunter has very unique world building and similarly strong character growth. 3) JoJo's Bizarre Adventures although currently low in the poll, honestly runs the gamut from DBZ style brawls to the most creative powers and team fights I've seen
Can’t do wrong with FMAB, perfect story end to finish and very concise. The breaking bad of anime because it’s just so universally loved and no one ever really has a bad thing to say about it 😂
Forgot to mention FMAB is one of the few anime where watching it in dub is accepted online which is rare 😭
Nothing beats the hype moments of MHA, let alone the peak that is Season 8
Haikyu, HxH and FMA:Brotherhood are the only one of those that I've completed, idk if it's just me or whatever but a lot of those animes started great then just took a hard right turn and I just lost interest.

I'm surprised rezero and apothecary diaries are not on this poll since they have 2+ seasons. Not that they'd win against the nostalgia powerhouses again. Oh well. Hopefully Sao gets a chance one day too! All on due time
I know sword art online will never win against these power houses but one day I hope someone gives that show a chance especially since aliciazation and war of underworld are pure cinema, have some good ethical and morality questions like AoT and also animated by the same studio as solo leveling (A1). AND LiSA does most of the intros and outros. But it never wins because there's 5 episodes in it that are too slow or silly and people give up the entire show because of it. But at least FMAB is leading and not JoJo. I couldn't stand JoJo.
Ngl, there's alot more reasons to give up on SAO than that, the second half of the first series is just... weird, icky. I never went back to watch the new ones because for a decade it was just a franchise being milked for its initial success, the good stuff came too late into its lifecycle.
Was writing a long ass comment before it got deleted :') I'll keep it shorter this time hehe. Excited for FMA: Brotherhood, maybe my fav anime of all time. Also think you girls would really love MHA and Haikyuu, maybe in the future! <3
