Ackerman's CAN fight against the founder, that's why they're immune to his titan abilities (mind control etc), but they were still "instinctively" built according to eren to protect said founding titan or host. But Mikasa's love for eren is so strong and in that moment that she "snapped" she took her "target host to protect" as Eren at the time before Eren became hte founder titan. There's more to that but i cannot explain at the moment until later, things will be explained.
in previous episodes, we saw that levi only drinks tea and refused to dirnk wine. What a lucky break for us.
Remember when this show was easy and our enemies were just the titans? All we had to do was learn how to fight against them and everything would be good. Ahh, the good ol' days.
i wanna state something about Floch. the writer, Hajime Isayama, did a phenomenal job in writing his character. i would even argue it is one of the best written characters. now- think like this- you have been oppressed and attacked constantly in the past 10-20 yrs by marley and is finally getting a chance to rebel. to end it, for your motherland. Floch who is also the sole survivor of the suicide charge, has seen and felt things which you cant even fathom the very least. his drive to protect his country is true. many people think, how is he now sided with eren and zeke when he was against them in s3. thats wrng. he wasnt against eren or zeke. he was always against marley, or the so called “enemies”. floch is character written to be hated, and be despicable on the first watch. but then u understand that he is right, all along. for the sake of our country. yes also i agree his methods arnt really the right ways; but as extreme as the situation is , sometimes a firm hand is what u need.
"Right all along for the sake of our country" yea that sentence doesn't have ominous connotations at all if we compare to real world history..

He went from a coward who had no cause to a savage with a cause. I guess watching Erwin and the 200 other Scouts get butchered by The Beast Titan really fucked with his head. Pretty sure him and Eren must of had a meeting of the minds with regard to the future of Paradis Island.
This is not a spoiler and can clear up what eren meant to mikasa about her protecting the "host" Eren is pretty much saying Mikasas "ackerman blood" overtook "real mikasa" when he told her to fight when they were little because "ackerman mikasa" mistook eren as "eldias king" which we can assume would tell their ackerman soldiers to "fight" to protect them. You guys were spot on with kenny and uri, and we can only guess Levis "king" would be erwin. It doesnt have to do with the founding titan and thats what eren is saying, that ackermans can mistake people as "eldias king" accidentally because their ackerman bloodline takes over their "real person" making them a "slave." Thats also why hes saying ackermans get headaches because "real mikasa" is fighting against "ackerman mikasa." But this is just what Eren is claiming, who knows if its all true :)
so you're right mostly but levi's "host" to protect as ackerman is still eren. Yes he has devotion for Erwin as LEVI, but if we're looking at it from eren's argument, levi's been to hell and back every time to protect eren. Even in the last episode and this episode, you can see levi grabbing his head (like mikasa) as a subtle nod that he's questioning all the times he's protected eren, and now they want to replace eren with another etc.
