I think Historia meeting some random guy was her just trying to get pregnant to go along with that plan of continuing the line and preventing the military from turning her into titan. When she approached that guy in the barn scene, she didn't look like she was deeply in love, but just doing her duty.

Honestly, I don't really remember what I was thinking at that point in the story, but what's certain is that I was still very far from knowing everything and being able to imagine the incredible continuation of this story. I think we all agree that Eren has changed and I obviously felt it. I think I always told myself that if he acted like that, it was because he had a good reason to do it and I was really waiting to know more about his intentions before being able to form a definitive idea about his behavior and the implications and consequences that this could have had and that it would have.

I was def conflicted with Eren at this point of the story Think that's natural considering the flow of the story past 2 eps (jumping from flashbacks to present) Hard to get a read on him, what he's thinkin

Honestly girls, I feel like it’s pretty difficult to converse with you guys about AOT especially at this point in the story without spoiling lol. Like in this episode for example you guys really focused a lot of Eren and his complete shift from season 3. But obviously you still have ways to go and have lots of story left to discover before you know the whole thing. One thing I can say WITHOUT spoilers is that Eren Jaeger is hands down one of the best WRITTEN main characters in all of anime! And even at this episode that you guys are currently on, he’s already displayed such a huge amount of growth since season 1. I remember watching season 4 for the first time and any moment Eren is on screen I’m so focused and fixated on what he’s doing, what he’s planning, what he’s thinking and what he plans on doing next. Such good stuff !

Armin wasn't saying that he's supporting the idea of someone eating eren with the serum. He was drawing the contextual clues that the guarisson (pyxis) isolated the marleyans and the volunteers and is keepign hte scouts in the dark, and THEN he mentionned "... well they also have serum now, so if Eren doesn't play ball... maybe they wont need eren anymore". So he's stating a fact, he's not saying that he's suggesting it :) PS: To answer your question about Eren: Interesting about this episode is that we've always seen the show through Eren's eyes during the show (Except armin's narration) and this is the first episode that Eren is in, where we only HEAR eren talking out loud (tatakae, threatening hange, arguing about historia vs zeke and his feeligns for the others) but not ONCE did we get INNER dialogue from Eren in this season ESPECIALLY this episode, unlike all previous episodes. it just makes it even more interesting so that the show can show different points of view without being centralized on a single character. And that's why no matter what others say here, hopefully without spoiling, it doesnt MATTER what others think because the writer of this show INTENTIONALLY blocked off the viewer from Eren's inside monologue/thoughts this season, unlike previous seasons... We, the viewers, know as much about Eren's mindset and plans and allegiance as much as the next person inside the show, and he's intentionally denying us additional information by "cheating" into eren's mind SO THAT WE CAN ALL HAVE THIS FORMULATED THOUGHTS about Eren! and make up our own minds on what WE value or believe in, both from a character/story perspective and from an ethical/morality perspective. Also: The A stands for Azumabito (the asian clans) descendents of the Azumabito shogun.

Zeke did not produce the ODM gear he gave to Kiyomi Azumabito the Hizuru diplomat. Zeke "POCURED" it. Meaning he took it from Miche, the Scout who used to sniff a lot, that he killed when we first meet the Beast Titan in Season 2.

Fun spoiler free fact about Mikasas tattoo is that it’s actually shown earlier in the story during the flashback with her family in season 1, but the previous studio refused to animate a kid getting a tattoo so they changed it to her mom teaching her the symbol as an embroidery pattern. This studio sticks with manga canon which is a tattoo under a wrist band that always appeared on her character design.

I remember feeling conflicted... it was weird. Like we suddenly got closed off from Eren's thoughts and intentions, which I guess is the beauty of it 😅 I thought that he must have his reasons, but I didn't know if they would be justifiable. I wondered if being a titan slowly consumed you, like does it turn you into something animalistic and violent? Another part, thought he felt like he had no choice or his time was running out. Another part wonder if he was just desperate to feel powerful or make a change while he can. I never really saw Eren as very mature, but kinda highly emotional and impulsive... so him being at times emotionless... was concerning, but I also didn't feel like he really grew up aka his outburst on Hange, tho it was a bit different. Imo, I thought it could go in many directions. Like we have seen some of his darkness, but have we seen all of it? Idk, but the attack at the announcement was definitely a surprise. I honestly thought everyone had their agenda except the scouts. The OG scouts were the only ones I felt were as confused as I was 😂 Everyone else felt like a wildcard 💀
