Yooo that end discussion confused tf out of me and I've watched Willy's speech like 100 times😭😂 I thought it was already known that the Fritz family was the Reiss family? They just adopted another surname when they migrated to Paradise....I think? I'm confused now😭

I fear there's too much confusion in this episode that has caused a massive fire in the kitchen XD A few clarifications that hopefully helps: 1. Eren didn't have his hand cut because he was gripping too hard from emotions, he purposely cut himself and revealed his injury to Reiner as a way of saying "Follow what I say or I'll transform right now and kill the people around us." That's why Reiner was very submissive and told Falco to do whatever Eren says. 2. King Fritz and the Reiss family are the same bloodline (Fritz = Reiss). The whole thing about Season 3 was that the Paradis government installed a fake king (lent him the name "Fritz") and the Reiss family used a different name to hide their true identity from the public as they are the royal blooded Fritz descendants. 3. They mentioned the term "vow of renouncing war". This vow that King Fritz established is like a curse that gets passed down to all of his descendants that no matter which royal blood inherits the Founding titan, that person CANNOT start any war or conflict (hence the "vow of renouncing war"). This explains why the Reiss family, despite owning the Founding titan for almost 100 years, has never fought back or protected the Paradis Island; Because King Fritz vowed to renounce wars and was willing to accept whatever punishment that comes for them. This is VERY IMPORTANT because this vow of renouncing war has kept the world safe from any assault coming from the Paradis Island UNTIL the Founding titan got stolen by a non-royal blood (Grisha then to Eren). This means that: Since Eren is NOT a royal blood, he is NOT restrained by the "vow of renouncing war" and is capable of using the Founding titan's full power (only if the conditions are set) to strike back. This is what Willy Tyber is warning everyone about. 4. All the tens of millions of titans in the walls are indeed "Colossal titans" (we've seen a fragment of what they looked like back in Season 1 and 2) and they looked pretty much identical to Bertholdt's Colossal titan but only a few meters shorter.

When Eren was talking about the apartment block being filled with families, and he pointed up, you saw that his hand was already cut. So basically Eren was threatening Reiner that he would transform if he didn't sit down because Eren was locked in. Also that's why Eren was able to transform because he already had his hand pre-cut and purposely didn't heal that part of his body. P.S. It's okay to binge watch the next 3 episodes.

It's a lot of things being thrown, best thing you can do is just rewatch it, until it makes sense. The Reiss family name is fake, cover up, surname, they are descendants of Fritz. And as Willy Tybur said, Karl Fritz, the eldian king, has renounced war and made an oath for his descendants to follow his desires. In the manga, they make a point when they give a titan, they try to give it next of kin, the stronger the bonds, the easier it is for the current user to access past memories. Exp, Porco and Marcel. "Perspectives" is a excellent way of describing this insane madness

Eren didn't transform off of reiner. He already had a cut, as you can see when falco points out "kruger did you cut yourself?"

I want to believe that the "Fritz" family had daughters that married into the Reiss family, and over time, their children carried the Reiss family name with royal blood, but they're the descendants of King Fritz (and by extention, royal blooded children of ymir). That or a subset of the fritz family changed their name to reiss to hide in the shadows while keeping a fake fritz as a placeholder king, or a honey pot i guess, so that if the enemies (within or external like marley) tried to take out the king, they'd have been baited by a fake rather than the real founding titan).

Interesting thing: Eren was quiet and stoik and compassionate to reiner. And he then reacted and got triggered when Tybur said "Because i was born into this world" (which is the exact same thing that eren used to say, which his mom used to say as well when she talked to Keith Shadis, that "he's special, because he was born in this world" And just like that, Eren then locked in, but he only attacked when the Tyburs declared war. He didn't make that first move, he gave them a chance to make that first move while he was talking to reiner... Willie Tybur was like "We declare war on the paradis island" and Eren was like "Bet. Hold my Willie"

Remember, the whole reason Marley even sent Reineer's team to take the founding is because in the real world, the military is getting strong enough to defeat even these special titans, and thus Marley has no leverage + Paradis Island has untapped natural resources. Ergo, Marley wants the extra power of controlling all the Wall Titans and the resources to save its place in the world

first of all, the reiss is the fritz family- the fritz are the “og” family they simply changed the name to remain undercover. out of the 9 titans, the founding titan made deal with the war hammer titan families, and took as many people has he could to an island. out of which 7 titans were held by marley, under the war hammer. the war hammer was given special honor and treatment, and was given wealth safety and power. the other 6 were given to the marley military. king fritz only took the founding titan. so totally which makes it 8. the last titan, which is the attack titan, went on its own path of freedom, marching forward with every owner, and being undercover, untill it ended up with eren kruger. also the “wall titans” who are collosal titans, are indeed not humans. but solely created just for the walls. they are also 10m less in height than the actual collosal titan, which is 60m.

The brainwashing is not Reiss blood power but the founding Titans!!!!!! :D they already established that

Have you noticed that eren's eyes widens when Tybur say's "i want to live because i was born into this world" or something like that. Eren was STONE COLD the whole time except for that line, because that's exactly what he's point of view on life is. To what he says to reiner "yeah, you and i are definitely the same". But the YOU in that phrase doesn't apply just to Reiner, but the whole Marleyan people. AND when the say the Rumbling is colosal titans, iT'S LITTERALY MILLIONS OF BERTHOLD sized titans

So a couple of things, Fritz and Reiss are the same family they just changed names, Tybur is literally raging war on the island by uniting the whole world to attack the island to kill Eren and his people. If u look at it Marley started this whole thing by attacking the island that was in peace with their pure titans they made by injecting people and by their warrior unit they sent to destroy the walls. Marley started this whole thing all over again

Reiss & Fritz are the same. Same family, same blood. The Fritz changed their name to Reiss when they moved into the walls.
