Also i've seen people react to this episode and have a bit of questions as to why Nobara just stood there and let mahito touch her. It was mainly an animator mistake. In the manga there was not that big of distance between the 2 clones. The narrator wasn't used in the anime but in the manga it is said that, Mahito's real body acted as a blind spot to make sure Nobara can't see the switch. Because she was battling the clone, she wasn't as afraid of Mahito's hand and let her guard down. Also finally, Nobara tried to block Mahito's hand and smack it away, but it was too late. So she didn't completely stand there, she just wasn't quick enough.

Can we appreciate Mahito's VA when he snaps at Yuji for yelling at him loudly after he killed nanami, and now, all the japanese VAs in this episode gave it their ALL. Even yuji's suble name drop of nobara at the end, in a shocked and confused state... he could have went loud and yelling there, but he chose to go low and withdrawn here. Yuji's reaching a breaking point o.O

This episode had everyone punching the screen!!! haha but yeah the flashbacks are the biggest deathflags in every anime. Its so fucking over for anyone when they get their own flashback in like every show 馃槀馃槀馃槀馃槀馃槀
