i think no reactor should watch the OVA that mentions subjects of ymir, because every single reactor had their views about Ymir and her entire character and everything regarding subjects of Ymir completely distorted

Yamir we know is not the founder Historia's sister was founding titan which grisha ate. So Eren has two titan powers one is Attack and another is the founding. Yamir was an random orphan was recruited by a cult of eldians in Marley they worshipped her by naming after the founder og yamir they took care of her but marley found out about this cult and shipped them of to paradise yamir got lucky accidentally she ate one of the worriers who had Jaw titan power when they were travelling to paradise to attack the walls and she escaped from them to the walls. The thing about Ymir choosing Reiner and Bertholemew over Historia, I take it as her paying the warriors back the life they gave her inside the walls and getting to meet Historia, because if it wasn't for the warriors (Annie, Reiner, Bert, Marcel) coming to Paradis, she would still be a pure titan. She felt indebted to them

So when Kruger gives the "attack titan" name reveal its actually super cool because he says "shingeki no kyojin" which is the literal Japanese title of the series Attack on Titan :)

When Reiner said they're trying to wipe of 'Humanity', they worded it so as not to give away the info to the scouts that there are people outside the wall. Remember, they are operating similar to CIA or KGB operatives at this point, so hiding crucial information from your enemies is very important.

As other's have said, our Ymir is not the Founder Ymir. In fact, in the letter Ymir wrote to Historia she states that she will soon die. So that very last image is of Ymir's last moments. In Marley where they are taking back the power she "stole". P.S. Kurger? Maybe you're thinking of Nightmare on Elm Street's Freddy Kruger? 😆 P.S.S. Go back and re-watch Ymir's backstory from Season 2. In fact also go back and re-watch her conversation with Bert. It will make more sense given the information you've learned and it will provide you with the info on how she gained her Titan power. And I hope you two will finish off the last OVA's you've yet to watch. They are worth watching IMHO.

Who else agrees that the long outros are AMAZING because we feel more connected with the girls' reaction, more raw and more enjoyable because that's how WE felt when we watched those episodes a long time ago.. except some of us, like me, STILL didn't have anyone to talk to afterwards because my friends are anime haters -.- and so those moments with you, although admittingly parasocial, are enjoyable because it reminds us WHY we love this show's writing :)

its funny to see how all these information are fucking you guys up LMAOO To help with clarifications (no spoilers obviously): - Power of the Nine refers to "titan shifters" and the powers refers to the titans' abilities (Armored titan = armor with hardened skin, Colossal titan = destructive huge body, etc...) - Ymir stole the power of a titan: "power of a titan" refers to "shifter". Meaning she stole Marcel's power when she ate him. - Our Ymir (Historia's wife) is NOT the founding titan. The Reiss family owned the founding titan and is now within Eren. It's easy to misinterpret the "all the paths cross at a single coordinate" scene because we were in the middle of flashes from Ymir's backstory. - My speculation: I think the reason why the name "Eren Kruger" sounds so familiar (Kruger especially), is because it sounds so much like "Eren Jaeger". Other than that, the name "Kruger" has never been mentioned at all before the reveal of Grisha's backstory.

Yeah the Ymir you know is not the founding titan. You've already seen that scene of Ymir looking at the coordinate when she wakes for the first time after eating Marcel but you didn't understand it at the time. They were just showing that flashback while an explanation of the founding titan was happening so you can understand that it was indeed the coordinate Ymir saw that day. Idk if this explanation makes sense lol but I tried my best. I think you guys may be focusing on Ymir's character a bit too much lol.

When Ymir says she stole the power of a titan, she means she ate Riner and Bert friend who is assume was also a titan shifter which we don’t know the name of yet. That’s why she went back with them because if she hadn’t eaten that friend, she was gonna be roaming around as a pure dumb titan. Hope this helps and don’t spoil anything for u all

I won't explain why lol ok fine i'll say why: it's a whole amazingly written story with everything tying together as you saw, even some of the easter eggs from previous episodes didn't make sense before but make sense now. @meesh/dee the reason why mikasa looks so sickly there is because she's been giving her food rations to Eren, instead of herself. Eren said "but we had a lot to eat didnt we?" but that's because that "a lot" came from mikasa taking some of her portions and giving htem to eren to make sure he's ok, because she's always ALWAYS protecting eren, even if this is the little that she can do there , and eren didnt even notice. < / 3 Here's a fun fact: every person that inherited the Attack Titan has always been seeking freedom and pushing against the control of authorities. That's also how they described hte attack titan itself too. It's like the Attack Titan is there to always put checks and balances on the absolute power of the founding titan and any opressing enemy (like marlyans/world in this context), to keep pushing forward, to always fight (TATAKAE!). But it's also currently a chicken and the egg thing: are the people who inherit the attack titan suddenly more prone to be obsessed with freedom and fighting against the world because the attack titan's "style" drives them, or is the attack titan always falling in the hands of those who DO seek freedom and fight because that's who each current titan wielder choses to pass it to the next time, and it just garned reputation over years that it's always ffighting and pushing back seeking freedom or etc. Addressing some questions you have in outro: edit: the name of kruger was heard by you in the last 2 episodes, it's just the name of the Owl himself, when they first introduced him, but we didn't know he was the owl back then edit 2: our ymir's not the founding titan, historia's just seeing ymir's memories because of historia's royal blood similar to when she touched eren when she wasn't a founding titan either. It's just the royal blood thing of reiss in her, and i personally believe that it's because historia probably touched a part where ymir's hand touched and left skin cells or something. but that's just my thoughts here. Eren is the one that has hte founding titan AND the attack titan, and when he touched dina titan's hand, he was able to temporarily hack into the founding titan's power and activate it WITHOUT succumbing to the will of king fritz to renounce war, unlike the royal bloods

The power of the titans are not special powers like that, basically all intelligent titans conform the 9 titans, like the armored titan, colosal and attack titan and ymir which name hasn't been revealed yet. That's why they explain that marley only have control of 7 of the 9 titans, eren (attack titan) and the founding titan are the 2 missing

About the last thing Kruger said : for me the theory is : Love. He ask Griesha to found a family and to love them because love might be the only solution in this cruel and violent world. (don't worry that theory is spoiler free, it's just my pov on the moral of the story)

I was also confused why the warriors worded it like "we want to destroy all humanity" the first time I watched. Figured it was just isayama not letting the reader/audience on to their true motive. It was actually because it was a huge advantage for the warriors that the eldians in the wall knew nothing of the outside world or their own history, so they had to play along with the people of the walls beliefs (even after revealing themselves) that they were the last of humanity. You know for sure if Hange or Armin heard Reiner say something like "we came to destroy all you filthy eldians!" They'd have figured all this sh*t out in season 2 lol 🤣
