Also to point out that Gojo at the end of jjk0 refers to Geto that he was the only friend he "had" when he returns the student card to Yuta
Here's what happened with Gojo: -Gojo opened his Domain for only 2-tenths of a second. -Everyone got stunned -In the following 299 seconds, while everyone was stunned, Gojo took out 1000 curses. It is Mechamaru's voice at the end. Mechamaru is dead, his tools still have his curse energy, which he is using to help. This was his contingency plan in case he didn't survive the fight against Mahito.

i thought the 299 seconds was a translation error meant to be milliseconds. it roughly fits 2/10ths of a second
Just to clear up a bit of the confusion without revealing too much since I can't fully remember the info shared after this. But this episode is definitely confirming Geto is dead and his body is being used by the brain that was talking at the end. That's really what that conversation is giving the viewer there. JJK0 ending - you don't actually see what happens to Geto's body. You assume he's alive because you've seen him in the future (with the scar on his head only though). Also confirming that is Mechamaru's voice actor at the end but not going to spoil how/what is happening there. Regarding Gojo and the 299 seconds, etc. - he basically activated his Infinite Void for the 2/10ths of a second, all of the info pouring into their minds put them unconscious which allowed him to run around for the 5 minutes killing all of the transfigured humans. I believe he rushes as fast as he does because Jogo and the others can wake up and counter him at any point based on what Gojo is explaining while that happens.
glad u mentioned the domain expansion thing. It was explained to me when the ep first aired but I forgot what that was! doh!
I was also so confused at first about the scene where Gojo kills all the transfigured humans, but the way I understand it is he flicks on his domain Infinite Void for 2/10ths of a second, which rendered them all unconscious in the area for a long time since it was 6 months worth of information overload in their brains. Then during the following 299 seconds while they're still standing unconscious, he kills all the monsters.

oh also Meesh was right! He opened it 2/10th of a second then to turning it off. Them standing there till the first people started moving was 299 seconds(5miins)!
Yeah, gojo did end up killing Geto after Yuta beat the shit out of him and Shoko (the girl from the trio that can heal with reverse energy) was supposed to dispose of the body but the Brain Curse took the body. so basically Geto has been dead since JJK0 and ever since it was the Brain Curse all along.
To answer your question in the beginning. Yes, January 2026 is Season 3 of JJK, AND theres a movie that consists of season 2's recap and the first 2 episodes of season 3 sometime December 2025.
