I don't even remember my reaction to this episode honestly lol it's been years. But I do remember specifically after 16,17,18 I was fully on board with the fact that AOT is easily one of the best anime series I've ever seen! Also little note, you guys both mentioned how its crazy that this show just keeps getting better. Well I hate to overhype shows and create expectations but season 4 is INSANE and it really does keep getting better and crazier hahah. Thanks for the shout out again Dee :)

BTW guys, I don't know if someone already said it but SNK is one of the fiew animes where the autor is involve in ALL the process. From the openings and endings to the rewriting of the scenes. He said that the anime was the final version of the manga

I love rewatching this show with yall because it helps me remember just how good this anime is. From here on out, it reminds me more of ATLA Season 2 and onwards where every episode is fire. Banger after banger. Can't wait to see yall get through this series!

Aren't you happy that we told you to watch Attack on Titan? :D I hope we don't disappoint! in levi's ova. Levi promised that Erwin would die by his hand... in a way, he indeed was. And Levi also promised to keep following erwin as long as he's looking ahead, but he realized that erwin's no longer looking ahead when he slapped it away with his hand raised as if he's in class.. Erwin was now looking down, to the basement, he had no vision of what's after anymore... while armin's looking ahead at the horizon beyond the walls, beyond the sea.. He had to make the choice he'd regret the least. Meesh crying is why this episode was 10/10 show across all ranking channels (until some disgruntled One Piece groups tried to review bomb it down to 9.x)

You know its peak when it got Meesh crying too.. for real! 💯 Berto’s scene was really sad too and I didn’t realize it until after some rewatch cause I was so mad at what he did—- but he woke up disoriented, suddenly about to be eaten by a titan, then seeing his comrades not saving him, then calling out for Annie & Reiner 😭 It felt like a win but also tragic we lost Erwin the GOAT, and another GOAT soldier Moblit rip, Hange got kirammaned & Levi having to live with this decision The letter! Deeee the instant connection to fanfics is wild 🤣 **checks the fics**
The fact that he asked help from them just shows that he really considered them as comrades even if they were on the opposite sides.
The flashback scene where Levi was listening to the three of them as kids talking about the sea hits hard for so many reasons

Now the only veteran scouts alive are Hange and Levi 😔 I remember stressing that Armin would die if Levi didn’t hurry up with the decision. Boy just burned alive and fell 60 meters down to a hard rooftop. 😭 Did you notice Levi punched Eren so hard that Eren lost half of his teeth? 💀 Also, Hange being able to hold an Ackerman still is quite impressive.
Also a small detail about erwin's "rejection". he didnt consciously reject the syringe he was having a flashback to the question he asked his father in class as a child. Which we hadn't actually been told before. which makes this scene even sadder. Also i love the parallel that Armin (the sweetest character) gets to hold the most destructive power
i've rewatched this multiple times and i cry every single time too
