Sync Guidelines
Videos are edited in watch-along style format, so you will need your own copy of the film/show to sync with us.
*We will count down 3...2...1... START. Press play right when we say "Start" for accurate syncing. We are still in the process of figuring out time codes*
To ensure compliance with copyright laws and to enhance your viewing experience, our reaction videos require synchronization with your own copy of the content. Here's a detailed guide to seamlessly sync your viewing:
Pausing and Playing: Due to the length of the movie, we may have taken a couple of pauses/breaks. This means you may need to sync up your copy of the movie/show again. We will give a verbal countdown such as "3, 2, 1... Start." You should click "start" on your copy of the show to sync again. We tried to minimize any cuts/pauses but just in case you need to re-sync, you can follow the subtitles from the video and sync with your copy.
Dual Monitor Setup: Utilize a dual monitor PC setup for simultaneous viewing of both screens.
Split Screen Viewing: Employ the split-screen function on your device to watch the reaction and your show/movie side by side.
Connectivity Options: Consider Chromecast/screen-sharing or HDMI connection to a TV, allowing for a larger display of one screen while using another device for the reaction video.
These methods facilitate a connected and immersive reaction viewing experience, ensuring you're perfectly in sync with our content. 馃槉

you should also consider the dub is not as faithful a translation as the sub since localization teams translate it to what they think english audiences would find more engaging. so technically the dub is further away from what Isayama intended when he writes scenes.

Just some input regarding the interpretations you were discussing at the beginning between dub/sub. Personally I've always gone with the subtitles when it comes to context and what a character might mean in a particular moment even if sometimes the subtitles are a bit vague or not translating particularly well lol. That being said if I'm not understanding a concept or the story in an anime I tend to find the dub has helped me a lot with that as I'm still newer to anime as well and dub tends to almost dumb stuff down at times in my opinion to make it more easily digestible for viewers who speak English
