We tried to minimize any cuts/pauses but just in case you need to re-sync, you can follow the subtitles from the video and sync with your copy.

Dang I'm actually impressed you guys recognized/remembered Utahime and Mei Mei, and also putting together a relationship between Fushiguro and Megumi...most reactors I've seen didn't put any of that together and not gonna lie my first time I watched I didn't either lol
shoko is the doctor that was called in during the fight with geto in the JJK 0, she's also the same doctor that was watching over itadori's body when he ripped his heart out. She's clearly more "in the circle" of gojo/geto.
Someone in the discord provide these girls bluray version of jjk s2. It is not just animation, but ghosting and dimming during action will really impact the experience
so what was interesting to me at the beginning of S2 when we are shown this so called flashback so geto at that time tried to act as gojo's moral compass but what happened between the two of them?? will be revealed soon ( i love that gojo use digimon reference when they discussed the mission)
like you’ve said, they use the last and first names so interchangeably that characters like Shoko that have only appeared a couple of times aren’t recognizable by name in a flashback like this haha! she was usually referred to as Ieiri by the other adults although Nobara mentions her as Shoko-san in passing in one of the final episodes of S1.

Shoko is the doctor in season 1 that wanted to cut open Yuji when he was "dead".
There’s really only one or 2 episodes that you should watch in blu ray but that’s later in the season

It was just blowing up at the time and everyone just hates on current popular thing, S2 JJK is peak and ill always ignore people that shit on it
I don’t think you’ll will ever notice the animation being bad, it’s fire the whole season. It’s more like they made a few 10/10 fight scenes 11/10 with a few extra scenes and cleaned up some fast animation. The animators got really bad crunch during making this season
Shoko Ieiri is the medic girl from S1 with the crazy dark eyebags all the time. Crazy contrast from her in current timeline and in this S2E1!! The curiosity of wanting to know what happened with Gojo and Geto was me too, it was crazy seeing them so close. And also I didn't realize how well S1 > JJK0 > S2 flowed together until watching it so close together. Hyped for more! Have a great afternoon yall

Shoko is the doctor we see in S1, we’re introduced to her after Yuji “dies” in ep 5 and she’s there to perform an autopsy.
