i love this movie sfm! yuta character of all time

Nanami's fight in this movie is the one he talked about when he set the consecutive Black Flash record of 4. Yuta landing his first Black Flash on Geto here is one of my favourite Black Flash moments. Anytime you see that Red & Black lighting, just know its a big deal and they always frame it as such.

hey so 1- okkotsu has been mentioned before by Todo and others, particularly that Todo was excited about the school competition because he wanted to fight okkotsu, and was disappointed that he wasn't partaking because okkotsu is "not available, he's abroad on a mission". 2- do you recognize the 3-piece red weapon that Geto used to fight Okkotsu and Rika? The nunchucks thing? That's the SAME high grade (i think special?) cursed tool that Maki and fushigoro used later to fight the plant special grade spirit. Remember? When megumi gave that to Maki to use it in that fakeout attack, maki yelled at megumi to "never give me that weapon again, it feel sick to my stomach for using it", why? Bceause it's a weapon that they got from Geto, wherever Geto got it from :) 3- i'm not sure if you realized it or not, but Okkotsu used a black flash against Geto after his sword shattered, that's why he entered the "zone" But MOST IMPORTANTLY, when nanami pulled up with his overtime mode? THAT's when Nanami used his Black flash 4x in a row and set the record! It was THIS fight (remember? When Todo was teaching itadori about black flash, and the flashback showed that nanami was current record holder of number of black flashes being 4x?) Yeah, that's this fight, you can count that red/black energy to be exactly 4 times in a row :) 4- Geto's motives.. you NAILED with the magneto comparison. Just like how Charles Xavior and Magneto dont see eye to eye on many things, where xavier wants to protect everyone including his students, but magneto wants to protect mutants as his family... smae thing here with Gojo and Geto... And in fact, even the fact that both charles and magneto vs gojo and geto were also extremely close friends before their separation... yeah... one might wonder what was the ticking moment of their split up, and what is geto trying to do and why ... especially that in the flashback memories of gojo in this movie, when gojo was pondering, you can hear a conversation between gojo and geto, and it was GETO who was telling gojo that "we the strong have to protect the weak" and yet in this movie, geto's introduction scene he says the exact opposite that "WHY should the strong protect the weak... instead of overcoming them. it's natural selection!" Also, spoiler for Attack on Titan Season 3 part 1 (for those who havent caught up, Meesh and Dee already caught up) but : 5- So it seems similar to the Attack on Titan "ackermans" in terms of some clans , like the Zei'in clans, and the cursed speech users and even gojo's ancestors, have "Special" techniques that are inherited or "easier to learn" if they're from that bloodline, similar to Attack on Titan when you find out about Levi and Kenny and Mikasa, that just being part of that clan makes them somehow more "naturally" stronger than other jujutsu users. And that's why Okkotsu was so strong and he's the one that cursed Rika to not just be a standard curse but a SPECIAL curse, so he was hte one that was actually special all along, not rika's curse energy (or at least, both).

Gojo cmon man you can't throw someone else under the bus 11:28 also yuta got it so fast the problem was teacher not students and so as far as the movie is concerned, in my opinion it's an interesting choice because at the very beginning of the series and the beginning of the movie it was explained what curse spirits/curse work and so on, but in this case love?? bc so we exclusively seen curses come from like horrendous experiences schools hospitals

You guys may not have caught it but Gojo does stab Geto at the end. If you listen closely you can hear him finish Geto of. Also Gojo is Gojo's last name lol

okkotsu was mentioned a few times in season 1, including todo asking why okkotsu wasn't at the exchange event. this movie reveals at the end that while season 1 is taking place, yuta is with miguel in africa. Jujutsu Kaisen 0 was written before the manga of Jujutsu Kaisen season 1

Yuta is my boyy, I kinda love mysterious character and when they mention that 2nd year who was "powerful" I like him in one take, and in the movie they present him like a sweetheart, I just get to love him, he is my favorite character and that's why I rewatch this movie over and over again hahaha

Yeah Yuta was mentioned multiple times by Todo and Gojo in season 1. He was also able to hit a black flash and they showed Nanami’s record of 4 black flashes

Yuji has Sukuna, the king of curses. While Yuta has Rika, the queen of curses. Just wanted to add for the parallels.

Yuta has been mentioned a lot in season 1 but of course you guys didn't know him then.

Aaaaand I agree, I love Toge’s VA too. Imho, his voice is charming. Clean and gentle. He also voiced one of the 12 Kizukis in Demon Slayer, Rui. And many other projects/animes I shall not spoil. Also uhhh Throat game? Seriously guys hahahahaha

To clear a few things up, no spoilers: No, the timeline of watching is JJK S1 - movie - JJK S2. But, the timeline in the series is JJK S2, EP 1-5 (depicting 2006ish) - JJK S1 (2018ish) - JJK 0 (depicting 2017) - JJK S2 EP 6-23 (depicting a few weeks after the events in S1) Gojo is 28 in our timeline, Yuuji, Nobara and Megumi are 1st years, Maki, Yuta, Panda and Inumaki are 2nd years and there are third years that are suspended. After Gojo says something to Geto, we don’t hear it and we never will, it was also muted in the manga, we hear a “slash” sound, so we assume that Gojo had to have killed him. BTW, only the author and the voice actors know what was said between them! Yes, Gojo and Geto’s names are similar and it was intentional by the author. Gojo calls people by their first names, also Geto and Gojo call each other by their first names (Satoru and Suguru). Yes, Yuta and Gojo have the same descendant, so technically they are distant relatives
