34:30 : So now that you know that when a pure/beta/dumbdumb titan eats one of those titan "shifters" (these are just a fan-made name to describe people like eren, reiner, bert, annie, ymir, and whoever ymir ate so that we can make conversations easier and avoid repeating ourselves between titan categories...), What we learned here is that when they eat someone "with the power of the titans", they take over their power and become humans again. And that's the only way for them to inherit a power of a titan from someone else. Now that you got that confirmation of that theory, i wanted to bring you back to something Meesh said a long time ago that i have been keeping quiet on for MONTHS: Meesh: "Why are all the titans smiling and eating these humans like it's ectasy? Why does it look like pure euphoria like they're high when they're eating humans and smiling? Why aren't they eating the animals then??! and why are they throwing them up if not for sustinance??" So to answer your question FINALLY: my THEORY is because of THIS statement above. Titans are attracted to groups of people and they're smiling and eating them with euphoria because it's almost like an instinct that if they stumble on a human with the power of titans, they'll be able to revert back to human (they're not intelligent in that regards, but like an animalistic instinct for survival... like a bird realizing it can fly, or a newborn baby or puppy that kicks its hands/legs automatically when taught to swim long before they can even think or speak). Which, if we apply this logic now, might explain why the titans ignore animals and throw up humans they eat because they are subconsciously or instinctually driven with the hope to find a human that will revert them back to human. Now if you look back at Ymir's flashbacks with the auroras and the colorful skies, and how ymir tells her own story: when she reverted back to human, she was high on life, full of joy and extatic, and she's been riding that high of "i want to live my second life to its fullest" and wanted to ensure she keeps that high by staying close to christa and her family secrets...until christa made her feel something different than that high... almost like an accidental intervention. And now if we look back at Ilse's notebook, the titan that was talking to Ilse, He was trying SO HARD to NOT eat Ilse because maybe she reminded him of Ymir's looks, but in the end, like any addict chasing a high and failing to overpower it, that search for the high got to him and he ate Ilse's head and neck (top part) before putting her on a makeshift shrine/throne. But what's interesting about that scene is that the titan's facial expressions are unique: it was like a guilty pleasure high, he was crying and balling his eyes out for what he's doing, but he just couldnt help himself and in his attempt at eating Ilse, he was both crying and full of that high of "maybe , just maybe... " and then the high subsided when he remained a pure dumb dumb titan and then the guilty and shame subconsciously showed on the dumb dumb titan's face, like an addict with post-nut clarity and regret, and then put her on a throne while sad. So again, my theory is that this is why the animators animate those titans in a goofy "euphoric" looks on their faces. I could be wrong though at this point but this is what i remember feeling at the time, and this is what i wrote in my former notes (YES I TOOK NOTES LIKE @MEESH! -.-) on my first watch

Ymir didn’t fully take Marcel Form because she’s been a pure titan so long that when she ate Marcel much of her feature did not change. She was a pure titan for 60+ years

Dee's outfit today reminds me so much of a kid in an old Indiana Jones movie. The kid was wearing a New York Yankees hat though but overall had very similar in drip

You guys know now who were the 3 groups of people which the interior police got rid of to protect the King's peace.

Dee was actually right, Reiner was throwing those titans hoping one of them would eat Eren and get the power back. They don't really care about Eren they just want the power which anyone who eats him will get.

And all of that also explain why, despite no needing to feed, titans eat human, they must be trying to find one with intelligent titan power to be able to revert to a human state.

Loving the long pre and post discussion. This does NOT contain any spoilers at all just a take it of leave it suggestion since you guys talked about it for a while. I would recommend going back and looking at the difference in the Ymir titan form before and after eating Marcel to get a sort of idea of what her special power might be - think this would spawn even more theories between you guys of what her special power might be.

Ymir did gain a special power when she ate Marcel. Go and watch the scene where she eats him again and pay attention to her mouth.
