Attack on Titan 2x9 | Full Length Reaction

Tremendo!!!<3 <3 <3

Reiners little brain is broken.. :D sometimes in war it happens when the brain cant take anymore stress.. its called SHELL SHOCK :)

Reiner literally IN TO DEEP

meesh: "we wanted to know more from the words of this show about the mystery but we got NOTHING" hehehehehehehehe yeahhhhhhhh, ain't that a kick in the teeth for first time watchers vs second time watchers :P this episode has SO MANY slow burn easter eggs and hints (intentionally said in a mysterious or partial way) about the lore of this world and people that watched this episode the first time complained that it was "filler" when it's probably one of the MOST important episodes of the mystery and the writing of this show is so good. Fun fact: eren doesn't know what a "monkey" is because they never met a monkey before as an animal, but bert/reiner/ymir know the terminology, it's similar to how ymir was able to read that other language on the tuna can. And Fun fact about THAT, reiner is dissociating so hard from what happened (and his flashback hint) that not only did he snitch on himself in 2x6 and helping the scouts when he didnt need to (unlike berthold who only ever helped reiner), but his dissociation was so strong that he COULDNT READ the damn tuna can back hten, and only when ymir read it, you can see he was in shock because his dissociation was shattering his understanding of the surroundings that he's in. And that's why berthold told him over MULTIPLE episodes "reiner, you're not a soldier, you're more of a warrior". Not just once, but many times: except as a first time viewer you dont even notice these tidbits of dialogue. Reiner is such an interesting character. I kinda see the similarities between Reiner and Winter Soldier from marvel (bucky) but the other way around: he brainwashed himself unlike hydra brain washed bucky, but he's having lapses where he cannot tell the difference on who he is, let alone what his missions actually is at the time. As for the whole "promotion" bit, i believe reiner wasn't talking about who they (the warriors) report to as titans, like what dee is saying. I think that bit was more of reiner's dissociation happening , he's talking as a GENUINE scout, thinking he's a scout/soldier, not a warrior/titan, so he was saying "we worked so hard that we deserve a promotion" and bert's just looking at him, like a guy who doesn't realize he just set a whole building on fire and murdered many people without realizing, and then coming to the firefighters and cops and say "hey guys i need a raise because the fire almost killed me... wait why are you guys looking at me all confused, i deserve that promotion" (when they're looking at him like "how the hell do you deserve a promotion when you should be on the run after what u did

Something you two should consider is that everyone pointed out that Reiner was talking crazy nonsense. So you should probably take everything Reiner said before that moment with a grain of salt.

I love how Dee immediately thought that "enemies" depends on the person themselves (it's not just black and white) because technically, it is. Although i think there's a slight misunderstanding in that conversation with Eren asking "Who's the real enemy?". At first, Ymir was just about to say who the real enemy is, but Reiner cut her off to try to persuade her to join their side. Then when Eren asked who the real enemy is again, Ymir paused to think and said "Who knows?" which basically implies that she 100% knows who the enemy is but decided not to tell Eren because she's now switched sides to Reiner's team.

Things are getting intense

Awesome reaction to this episode! This was one of my favorite episodes because they give you so much info without really revealing anything haha

Reiner has a split personality. Soldier and Warrior. Which is also the reason why he accidentally snitched on himself in episode 2x6. He forgot who he was at the moment, a mental slip. That’s why Bertholdt looks horrified and Reiner was shocked once he realizes what he’s just told to Eren.🫠🤡
