FAILED MISSION 😩

Sync Guidelines

Videos are edited in watch-along style format, so you will need your own copy of the film/show to sync with us.

*We will count down 3...2...1... START. Press play right when we say "Start" for accurate syncing. We are still in the process of figuring out time codes*

To ensure compliance with copyright laws and to enhance your viewing experience, our reaction videos require synchronization with your own copy of the content. Here's a detailed guide to seamlessly sync your viewing:

  • Pausing and Playing: Due to the length of the movie, we may have taken a couple of pauses/breaks. This means you may need to sync up your copy of the movie/show again. We will give a verbal countdown such as "3, 2, 1... Start." You should click "start" on your copy of the show to sync again. We tried to minimize any cuts/pauses but just in case you need to re-sync, you can follow the subtitles from the video and sync with your copy.

  • Dual Monitor Setup: Utilize a dual monitor PC setup for simultaneous viewing of both screens.

  • Split Screen Viewing: Employ the split-screen function on your device to watch the reaction and your show/movie side by side.

  • Connectivity Options: Consider Chromecast/screen-sharing or HDMI connection to a TV, allowing for a larger display of one screen while using another device for the reaction video.

These methods facilitate a connected and immersive reaction viewing experience, ensuring you're perfectly in sync with our content. 😊

i love levi sfm!! from the first episode that he was a part of, when he comforted that soldier in his dying moment, his characterization has been so well done. he's so stoic and has to be the one to make the hard calls so it can easily be interpreted as him being cold and heartless, but it's made clear that he cares so much. like here, he gives that guy a uniform patch that's obviously not the dead friend's, because that would've been impossible. how would levi have even gotten that? it makes more sense to assume it actually belonged to someone from levi squad. likely petra, since there's an emphasis on his reaction when they drop her body. but he tells the guy it belonged to his friend anyways just to bring him comfort - #1 LEVI STAN (real) 😂

Just to be 100% clear based on what's already been posted by some others and the fact you asked for feedback - the 2 "movies" most refer to are the conclusion of the main story. Essentially 2 extremely long episodes around 3 hours of runtime combined. They are extremely extremely important to everything you are watching right now and are a direct ending of the show and story as you are watching it. Do not read synopsis or watch them in any capacity prior to getting to them. Also .... absolute PEAK. Lol If you're watching on crunchyroll they are the final 2 episodes of the 4th season. I believe there were other actual movie releases which were recaps of the story and I know recently there was a movie released of those 2 final episodes I mention above combined into 1 full-length movie format. But if you just watch the full 4 seasons on crunchyroll and sprinkle in the OADs accordingly - should get everything important.

Also just adding a little more clarity to help. The reason people tend to get confused is because AOT has 87 episodes listed and the 2 long final episodes are considered "specials" which some people just say movies, others say episodes. But essentially there's the 87 episodes + 2 more long movie like episodes after Episode 87.

I remember when I first watch AOT back when it first released and following along the episodes up to where team Levi is wiped out and I thought to myself that they are completely outclassed. The female titan is just too strong way too skilled to be defeated by anyone. Not even Eren in his enraged titan mode can come close to her. Then I worried because we haven’t even seen the colossal titan or armored titan fight either. Imagine how powerful they are ! And what about any future special titans, like how on Earth could anyone stand against these smarter and faster titans ? Then this episode dropped and my jaw was on the floor … So this is the gap between all the scouts and Levi. He truly is the goat 🥇🔥

The last 2 movies (which are ~2.5h in total together) are definitely not "recap". The last 2 movies are the conclusion of the show. Whoever is telling you otherwise is confused or is talking about 2 different movies or cruncyroll recaps. And absolutely DEFINITELY do not even look up thumbnails or synopsys for those movies to guess, i cannot stress how spoilery they are.

I think there are other recap movies that were released that they could be referencing. I also consider the final 2 episodes "movies" like you mentioned. Easy for people to confuse the two.

Something that isn't explicitly stated but is heavily implied: Levi definitely picked up Petra's badge for himself at first, with some implications from the father (and the writer in interviews) that Petra and him were a thing or at least that Petra wrote her parents that she was pursuing him as a partner. He picked up HER scout patch when he inspected her body earlier in this episode (you can see the bite mark on her hand), but then Levi let go of it to give closure to this guy as a fakeout instead, to let THEM get the closure while he bares his teeth and keeps pushing forward and shouldering that weight. He's not only the BEST scout/fighter that the community called "Bayblade" Levi in this episode, he's such a nuanced and emotional character on the inside.

1:55 you actually know the answer to this already, since eren is a titan... titans have a known vital spot.

The ending breaks my heart. Levi and Petra were to be married, and he had to put aside all that pain to be strong for his men. He even gave the Wings he took off her body to one of the other men to make it easier on him.

I should say that this isn't confirmed, but even Isayama hinted at this being canon.
