I love how epic they make Levi's entrance ! And notice how when he's talking to Eren in the cell he says that he will kill Eren on the spot if he betrays them then he states that they "shouldn't argue because I'm the only one that can do it" meaning he is the only person that could kill Eren hahah I absolutely love his confidence and his level of self awareness ! Also appreciate the shout out 😆

HA. that's actually the funniest spoiler-free summary i've ever read. 29:10 "dont you wonder if we are close to knowing it all? like we've been on point in everything" LMAO... the real fans won't confirm nor deny anything because that's part of the show to theory craft and honestly? i wanna say good job for ATTEMPTING to do it and sharing your thoughts with the fans! (right or wrong, doesnt matter, that's the whole point!!!) but oh girls, this is gonna be a fun ride. My spoiler-free rule of thumb with Attack on Titan from MY experience up to what you've seen was "oh i think i know everything now" (and a couple of episodes later) "....nope... NO I FUCKING DONT" lmao. speaking of which, Erwin (the commander of the survey corps) doesnt know anything about the basement, he was ASKING eren if the answers are in the basement and eren said he thinks so. He also didn't CONFIRM that the collossal and armored titans are like eren, but he seems incredibly smart (like Pyxis, they're commanders for a reason!) and he's making a conjecture and you can tell he's probing eren to see if he knows more than he's letting on, whether eren knows it himself or not, since he's having amnesia. Levi is a badass... he was aura farming before Daddy Sung Jinwoo from solo leveling :P and many people had to buy spare underwear when he's on screen, guys and girls alike lol

7:30 there was an odd cut there when saving jean because of rushed animation and budget constraints but annie drop kicked the titan at the jaw to prevent it from eating jean and they ran. They had some animation budget issues at first due to the show being new and anime overall being a "niche" vs the current safe-project that the world loves, but it got better after dont worry, and they actually went back and fixed some of those season 1 animations on blueray (which i think netflix adapted) but those couple of animations fixes came at the cost of some horrible subtitle translations that some of which contained accidental spoilers (like netflix) because those who wrote the subtitles now knew more about the show than back then, and they translated subjectively instead of objectively.

When Eren smashes that rock and the song kicks in—CHILLS! 🥶 When I first watched it, I honestly thought he was gonna smash it too hard and make the gate break even more lol. The part where Jean was almost eaten by a titan, Annie did save him. They didn't animate it though... (probably due to budget). It was later added in the Blu-ray release.💿

This version is the original release of the finale of the first cour of the first season, unfortunately it suffers from a few inconsistencies in the animation which I can tell you noticed. It was rushed a bit to meet the deadline and it was fixed for the bluray release which some other streaming platforms have I think. Even though it has the same runtime there are scenes missing and they're replaced by these random bird's eye shots. The whole saving Jean sequence is a bit scuffed. Still a great episode though nonetheless.
