Sync Guidelines

Videos are edited in watch-along style format, so you will need your own copy of the film/show to sync with us.

*We will count down 3...2...1... START. Press play right when we say "Start" for accurate syncing. We are still in the process of figuring out time codes*

To ensure compliance with copyright laws and to enhance your viewing experience, our reaction videos require synchronization with your own copy of the content. Here's a detailed guide to seamlessly sync your viewing:

  • Pausing and Playing: Due to the length of the movie, we may have taken a couple of pauses/breaks. This means you may need to sync up your copy of the movie/show again. We will give a verbal countdown such as "3, 2, 1... Start." You should click "start" on your copy of the show to sync again. We tried to minimize any cuts/pauses but just in case you need to re-sync, you can follow the subtitles from the video and sync with your copy.

  • Dual Monitor Setup: Utilize a dual monitor PC setup for simultaneous viewing of both screens.

  • Split Screen Viewing: Employ the split-screen function on your device to watch the reaction and your show/movie side by side.

  • Connectivity Options: Consider Chromecast/screen-sharing or HDMI connection to a TV, allowing for a larger display of one screen while using another device for the reaction video.

These methods facilitate a connected and immersive reaction viewing experience, ensuring you're perfectly in sync with our content. 😊

25:45 — You're not missing anything. Welcome to Attack on Titan’s “Wait, what?” moments. This post's a bit longer to help establish the vibe, so I thank chatgpt for rewording my ADHD thoughts —future ones will be simpler. You’ll often run into scenes that feel disjointed or confusing—like “Wait, when did that happen?” or “Isn’t that the same person from earlier?” Most of the time, this isn’t a missed detail—it’s intentional. The writer is a master of “show, don’t tell,” and almost everything eventually gets answered, including questions you didn’t know you had. PS (for context): The walls go Maria → Rose → Sina (outer to inner). The big red Titan in Ep. 1 breached a gate to a smaller district on Wall Maria’s edge, not Maria itself. The second Titan (thick hard booty) in this episode broke through actual Wall Maria gate. So now, both the outermost district and Wall Maria are compromised, and everyone’s retreating into Wall Rose.

Optional longform , For Meesh and Dee: Yes, it’s the same basement key. Dr. Jaeger had it, and after the fall of Wall Maria and the Shiganshina district, Eren wakes up with it around his neck. That odd detail—was it a dream? how did he get the key?—is a deliberate “pay attention” moment. There’s no narrator to explain it, or to tell you to "find out next time on dragon ball z". The writer is putting his faith into the viewers to think critically, but also asking in return for the viewers to put their faith into him, and to trust the process as he slowly unfolds his masterpiece, with appetizers and then the main courses and dessert. So whether something is a dream, real, or unclear—that ambiguity is part of the design. When you catch moments like “wait, is that the same key?” jot them down. The show usually resolves these over time—or invites you to look closer. The biggest trap is turning an assumption into an unfounded “fact,” then building theories on it and getting more confused. Assumptions are great to make theories, but keep track of what is fact explicitly stated vs what you think you understood to help with these moments, haha. But don't worry, we your viewers will be here to help if you need anything, spoiler free. You’re not doing anything wrong—the show is meant to be a little misleading right now. That’s part of the experience.

So the walls are Sina, Rose, and Maria, with Maria being the outer wall. Cities like Shiganshina are Next to the Maria wall in a circular form, so they would attract titans and reduce the military cost of managing the entire wall. When the first gate titans only got access to the Shiganshina itself. When the second wall fell, they gained access to the entirety of the Wall of Maria area, so humanity had to retreat back to the wall of Rose (the second wall) and lost a lot of ground.

You mentioned Erens voice at the end of the episode... this is also the same voice actor of Sabito from Demon Slayer!

All the little details you're noticing are there for a reason even if nobody can hope to catch them all on a first watch. Can't wait to see what predictions/theories y'all come up with and how they play out!

A cool detail is that they sprinkle bits of information that will mean nothing to you right now but when you've watched it all and know the context it all makes so much sense. Also iirc all the endings share some lore or backstory. This one looks like it hints to Mikasa's backstory. It would be cool if you watched it and gave your toughts on now, before knowing the full context. I never finished this series because of the way it was released but I'm excited to winish it with y'all! <3
