Some clarifications: Yoonho (White Tiger Guild leader) is a beast type hunter so he has heightened senses compared to the other S ranks. That's why he can sense Jinwoo's rise in strength, and also why Jinwoo being faster than his eyes can see is a big deal since his vision is exceptional due to his beast archetype. He was able to purchase the items from the shop because he sold off some of his own items that he got from the System store. It wasn't shown but since he found out he can sell them at high prices he went to the bathroom so he could pull them out of the dimensional space he keeps them in and place them in the bag he had so it's not sketchy. It's implied he pawned off some things although it's not shown or mentioned what he got rid of. In regards to Jinwoo's mention of Tusk being "nerfed". When he arises a shadow they are not summoned at their original strength they had when they were alive. Think of it as them being downgraded a tier in strength when they are first turned into a shadow. As an anime only idk if that's the exact way it works, but it's an easy way to give an example to make my point. So if they were S while alive then they might be A after being "arised", A rank while alive becomes a B rank when arisen, etc. That's what he means by Tusk being nerfed since he just acquired him and thus hasn't had a chance to level him up as his shadow yet. But as we know from early on, his shadows can level up with him so they'll get back to their original strength eventually & even stronger. Additionally, the days inside the dungeon to hours outside conversion only applies to red gates. Not any other gates, as far as I know. So he's literally been stuck for 2 days. P.s. Sub is best 🤌🏾

Sub all the way. I been watching anime for a long time and dub never never been good. I know it gotten better over the year but still bad. I fell off watching anime for the past few years and I recently start back watching it. at first I went with dub to catch up on shows and put it on in the background and I could not do it. Also the past few years all the that things been going on with English VA and localizers, I refuse to support them.

The dub is alright, but I am much more impressed by the subbed. The voices and voice acting are fire.

Guess the sub/dub "discourse" remains polarized, lol. I personally prefer the English dub for this series, they capture a lot of nuance from the novel that the Japanese adaptation leaves out - they also have higher production quality with anything having to do with languages, esp. the sound effects for the "System" / "Magic beast" language having sick reverb/echo effects, and when we meet actual Japanese characters later on. I'm just happy to be following along with the reactions, though, not going to die on the hill since it sounds like most people can't stand the idea of listening to this Korean story in English instead of Japanese.

the dubs voice actors almost never fit the character pls stay doing whatever u want lol

First and foremost, please do not go with the DUB! When it's possible original version is always better. Few things the episode forgot to mention: - At the start of the episode the reaper guildmaster is also an S rank. - In the tower Jinwoo gained an ability where he can send his shadows inside another person shadow (he never had limit to how far from him they can go) as we saw with the orc hiding in the sister shadow. - While people in the S tier are clearly the strongest hunters since the tier itself doesn't have a ceiling, S tier hunters have higher difference of power between each other than any other tier. During the evaluation of Jinwoo both Bake Yoonho (who's a fighter) and Choi Jong In (who's a mage) clearly saw that Jinwoo is better than them in their respective fields. - When he says a week remember that inside the gate a day is an hour outside. That means if he stays a week inside a gate that means 70 days (if he were to stay inside a gate for 5 weeks that means almost a year)! So when he says 2 days for a single floor, it wasn't uncommon until he started dividing his troops to look for the next floor pass.

Jinwoo is about to wreck the economy. Spending 3 million in the shop and selling it for 100 million is basically an infinite money cheat. He got the gear because the dagger he bought from the system sold for several times what he paid for it.

Who wants you to watch Dub? tell em hit the road

couple of things: - you missed it because you were distracted by the red swirvy sword, but jinwoo was implying that he can take things out of his shop and then UPSELL them with real gold (think like a game where you can sell in-game items for real world money) and that's why he didnt have to sell the sphere of avarice and bought the cape and ring with selling store items. - Baek Yoonho (white tiger S rank) apparently can sense energy i think from what he's saying about jinwoo being stronger? maybe it's like hunter cha's senses but with vision? i dont know im just guessing, but he's clearly on to jinwoo. - i think jinhoo is much younger than jinwoo but a couple of years older than the sister? not sure. - an important thing we saw is that jinwoo doesnt need his soldiers near him, that's how we saw him send them on patrols and even wander the demon castle alone, but more specifically we saw that he doesnt need to store them in his shadow only, but he can store a solder in another person's shadow, like a spy/stealthy fly on the wall. - Meesh is SOMEWHAT right, the dungeon of jeju island is S-rank and it caused a dungeon break where many S ranks failed to contain the problem. So the red ants are probably around high A ranks but they're like the foot soldiers in chess, there's clearly the white ants there and their boss/queen etc that make the dungeon qualify as an S-rank strong enough that multiple S-ranks couldnt close in time.

I think you're doing a great job with the sub, and while jinwoo's VA is amazing in dub, it's decent, some other characters are rough with th e DUB VA. So i have no idea who's complaining to you about going with DUB vs SUB but for the love of god, ignore them. You can't make everyone happy, but i feel like MOST of the time, those who COMPLAIN about going DUB vs SUB are people who can't read or never bother focusing on the writing itself and just multi-task and don't care anyway.. TRUE fans never complain when the SUB is offered, but true fans also ACKNOWLEDGE when the dub is DECENT and not abhorant... so whoever is complaining to you about wanting DUB over SUB? not a real anime fan, not worth your demographics for the other ones.. Also i watched it in dub, and there's so many amazing one-liners from jinwoo that are just dropped in the dub. 3:15 DEE, ima hold you accountable for the whole muzan vs jinwoo "who's the aura daddy" conversation towards the end of the season lol. Both Muzan and Jinwoo love to do their smooth criminal walks at end of episodes :smirk: Also, i've heard and used "crispy" and "spicy" before for years, so i'm wondering where it came from. I do know that i cannot think of anything other than tangen and rengoku when i say "flashy" or "tasty!" anyore lol

Real anime fans will never complain about watching it subbed <3
