The Legend of Korra 3x13 | Reaction & Review (UNCUT)

I absolutely loved this book! It’s for sure my favorite out of the 4. Only thing is I wish Grandma Katara would’ve got to see Jinora get her tattoos/the ceremony though.

"I'm here if you ever want to talk... or anything." Asami really wanted Korra so say, "Anything." The music for Jinora's ceremony wrecks me every time and is aptly named "Service and Sacrifice." When Jinora stands and reveals her tattoos just as the music reaches the crescendo, it was cinematic AF. I think Season 3 is for sure the best season, but my personal favorite is Season 4 because... well, I guess we'll get there :)

guys if the poison was platinum they wouldn’t be able to bend it out of her. ((the platinum zaheer refers to is the shackles confining her, which she rips out of the wall but is unable to bend them)) i think it’s supposed to be mercury but idk if it’s confirmed what it actually is. but logically if it was platinum it wouldn’t be able to be bent into or out of her.

Yeah, I mean, I wouldn’t say Korra has more trauma than Aang, they just experienced it differently. Aang went down in a storm and when he woke up a full century had passed, his entire culture had been wiped out, and all but one person he knew was dead. I think that probably made it easier for him to compartmentalize, especially with the war going on and having to learn the other elements on a time crunch. There’s also the physical trauma they each go through in the second-to-last season finale. Aang was electrocuted and died in the avatar state, and still experienced pain and difficulties moving for weeks. Korra was poisoned and nearly died in the avatar state, and ended up paralyzed.

Jinora is Aang with brown eyes and smaller ears.

Who even knows how long it’s been since Bolin had a chance to shower and change his clothes. Those socks would be truly nasty.

Mako legit caught a body! But also, I’m not sure how he didn’t electrocute himself considering he was also drenched in water.

I love how Asami the non-bender is the first one to run into that room!

I believe the poison is actually meant to be mercury, as that’s the only metal that’s liquid at room temperature. Plus platinum can’t be metalbended.

The best season of Korra, and because the producers finally got some clarity about what they could do. It even continues through season 4 which is nice. Can wait for the reaction to certain moments in Season 4. And if there will be a new "mami" added to list (quite a long list it has become haha)

All the avatars have struggles and they all must overcome them in different ways which is one of the reasons I love this world. They're is so much potential for new stories!

Id love a live stream someday ! Id definitely join! Also my absolute favorite character to see bending was Ming Hua. Loved all her scenes. All bending scenes are creative in some way. I always wonder what they’d do next to incorporate different disabilities! …Also calling her fish fry after she got electrocuted was wildddd. Amazing reaction. Cannot wait to watch the next season with yall!

This is actually where I assumed the series ended. I didn't know they did a Season 4 online-only, so I've never seen Season 4 at all.

If Korra ended here, I'd be happy. That we get another season is Going to blessing.

One more season of avatar universe content … so sad! Wish we could have more content but animation wise this is where we reach the end ! :(
