Great reactions finally caught up. I love all of book 2, but I believe the 2nd half of book 2 is much much stronger than the first. I believe book 2 from here is all gas no breaks.
Also saying “Young Mula, baby” was wilddd. Dee is hilarious
She's too much 😂
One crazy detail i didn’t know until this year was that the place where Wan dies can be found in ATLA. In Zuko Alone, Zuko passes by a field with those giant earth bender disks. Sooo cool. I want a whole movie on an avatar we know nothing about. I know they need to use ATLA to bring the audience (hence the adult aang movie and Netflix series) but I cannot wait until this universe is popular enough that they can go into completely unknown stories and stand on their own. Such great episodes !
I love that drawback 😭 I'm dying for more stories of the different Avatars.
My first introduction to the word “avatar” was from ATLA, so I just assumed it meant master of all the elements, or maybe a master of multiple things. It wasn’t until either James Cameron’s movie came out or when I started playing more video games that I realized it meant like a physical form or some other representation of someone else, or being controlled by someone else. Before I saw Beginnings Part 2 I had never gone back and seriously wondered why the avatar is called the avatar, but once I realized that the avatar spirit was actually a separate identity from the person I finally understood. Wan and all of his reincarnations are Raava’s playable characters.
You can tell from this point in the season, the writers had more stability in what was gonna happen with the show. Going a bit more out with the story and the lore and the following seasons after. Also after all the Dragonball Z references. I do hope their will be a reaction to : Dragonball Z Abrigded
