Damn, that was an insane prediction Dee. wont say what but that.
According to the wiki, the council page (the one who snitched on Tarrlok) is a man.
Idk how Meesh kept a straight face at that one part of the reaction! Iykyk.
insane of her to be that strong
This show truly gets better and better 馃檶馃馃敟馃敟
THIS NEXT EPISODE GOES CRAZYY!! I love this episode so much too. Also I never noticed that there is no sato-mobiles in these flashbacks yet, they鈥檙e using the ostrige carriages just like the early 1900s! Ugh I can鈥檛 wait for the avatar aang movie! They have gotten way better at villains.
I understand not wanting watch or being hesitant to watch Korra if you were a big fan of Aang because that meant Aang had passed away. So I get that. I think a lot of people are now spinning the block on this show and seeing how amazing it is because we鈥檙e so many years removed from ATLA ending. I鈥檒l probably watch the new avatar series (think it comes out next year) which will have a new avatar, but I just know I鈥檒l criticize the hell out of it because that means obviously my fav avatar Korra (and most likely everyone else in LOK) has passed away. And what avatar could be better than Korra? Come on haha
Oh my god I knew about the movies, but I had No Idea there was a new series coming?! How exciting!!
I think my only argument against Korra in this season (not defending the silly misogynist views out there, no one's got time for that) stems from her entitlement. It makes sense and the show gives her the opportunity to see past that, but it doesn't make it any less palatable to watch it play out. She's abrasive in the same sense as Zuko was in Season 1 of ATLA - I didn't like the guy then. This isnt to imply that Korra's arc will necessarily follow the same trajectory ofc, but the foundation is set so that she has room to grow. She has been shown to doubt herself many times and has had moments to self reflect - I really dig that this early on in the show.
honestly, most of the hate the show gets is just pure misogyny. a lot of ppl (mostly men) complain about how she's hotheaded and can't stand that she's not perfect. i just know if korra were a male avatar, 95% of the hate the show gets would not exist
You know it鈥檚 true because Korra actually shares a lot of traits with Zuko.
