The guy finally came back to me, and said he wasn't finished and need 4 more days. (14-11-2024)
I can either :
1. Wait until completion 14-15 depending on how late he delivers, while working on V0.2
2. Release uncomplete update (expect something to look really weird, and give quite a few bugs.)
This will also come with the thing, I won't do bug fixes till I receive that delivery.
My own choice would be 1, I won't sit still, I promise.

A week isn't gonna hurt anyone. Rushing is just gonna hurt you more anyway.
It's ok we can always wait for the commission to be completed, that way we can get a more complete version 馃槆 Besides no need to rush, as the consensus here is xD, take your time 馃憤
In theory and morally, I support 1. I trust your skill and the game quality! But mentally, since I haven't been able to find a new similar game, I really want to play the next version as long as the bug is not so serious that the game process cannot proceed normally......
This stuff is out of your control, nobody's gonna be mad if it comes out a couple days later, no worries at all!

I'm personally fine either way. Technically speaking, you're gonna be releasing an unfinished product either way. If the bugs aren't game breaking on the lost images, I would kind of welcome the weirdness for one version. Sometimes that's some of the fun when finding bugs.
Take your time! I think the majority prefer a good realese than an incomplete realese

Take your time, it's better to polish things out and be a bit late than release something early and have it be bugged/broken. Good luck.
