Maybe a rolling release schedule could work? Mini getting the latest release a month behind the other tiers would probably be enough for people to want to switch over, but it doesn't really impact anyone if they're more frugal. I'd switch to the higher tier knowing both that you need it and the quality of your work, but from the poll it looks like a sizeable bunch wouldn't want the cost to increase. Best of luck either way.

I'd suggest against it. Doing so would mean at least half of those who are currently on $3/month tier need to upgrade to $6/month tier for you to retain same amount of income. Economic situation is bad in general all around the world and is getting worse. People have to think a lot more before spending, so I believe that changing that would likely result in net loss for you, plus lower newcomer head counts. Maybe you should wait until your reputation about your work is more established, but may it already is and I could be totally wrong about this, too.

Sad to hear, losing steady income always sucks, but I don't mind if you need the extra money to try and keep a little more stable for a little while. You do cool stuff and the other people here agree on that, a few extra bucks goes a long way sometimes. Hope you don't have to wait too long to find something to keep yourself up. Voted "no opinion" since I'm already on one of the higher tiers, so my vote would only skew things since it would have been irrelevant anyway. That said, looks like about 60% would be willing to support, but only 2/3rds of that number could afford to do the new tier. So I suppose if the math works out well enough that you could make it work then I'd say do it. If not though, start looking at alternatives.

Tbh dude I’m also on the hunt for a job at the moment. Despite that I’m still down to upgrade to the next tier to get access to the new games and stuff cuz the amount of effort you put in is worth the money

I think that would be a fair price for how much work you put in the game. Not to mention good quality and constant updates every month. And who knows, maybie you will become a succeseful full time game developer, who doesn't need another job. You do make great games after all ;)

I, too got fired. Well, announced that my department will be getting closed. Only in the CEO's interest of profitable margins and choices. Everyone, wants to save money. I hope, for both of us, are getting a job soon.

I think you've proven beyond doubt that your work ethic with these games is superb. The extra money is worth it knowing how dedicated you've been.

Damn, that sucks, I know how you feel on losing your safety net of a job, it happened to me right before the holiday season. but now your job is to look for a new one. I myself am already the giantess tier, but yea while you are looking it seems fine to bump it up to help get you some income. and when you do find a job maybe bump it back down once things are stable for you. I wish you luck in your new journey in finding a new job.

Well, that really sucks. As I always thought: no need to put so much effort when you are just a simple pawn that can be rid of for "no reason” the next day. Anyway, I don't know what your job is (or if I can say "was") but I hope you can find another one ASAP. I'm already at "Giantess" tier but maybe I can upgrade to "Giga-Giantess" tier if that can help you a little. Sorry in advance if I can't take the "Goddess tier". Don't want the greedy EU VAT taking all my money. I can respect the choice of those who don't want or can't switch from "Mini-Giantess" to "Giantess" tier for wathever reason. Wish you luck! I say "go for it", because losing your main source of income is definitely a problem. Whether or not I'll join the higher tier is questionable, though.

I really wish this had not happened, but I completely understand, I will not give an opinion, I hope you can solve this soon, I will not be able to support for a while, but it is very possible that I will pay again when the new game is at least half way through the process as I do not have enough to pay the required amount monthly. I wish you all the best and hope you get a new job soon.
