RPG question
If I would do a RPG would you like a guided path or Quest hub path.
Guided path is like most RPG games you do not have side quest and just follow a story until the end.
Quest hub path, you would be able to enter cities or villages where you have multiple things to do per village and when these done you go to next. (example world of warcraft questing)

My vote is Quest Hub. Linear RPGs are just VNs with extra steps. "Warlock and Boobs" I thought did a good job of making an interesting non-linear RPG.
I always liked Quest Hub type games better, as you don't feel like you're in a hurry to try and finish the main storyline as fast as possible. Also there are many games I've played where the side missions can often be as interesting, if not more interesting, than the main quests. Looking forward to when you eventually make an RPG Orachi. I know you like challenging games, but I hope you don't make it too hard.
Too busy to play recently, but at least a time to write a comment I will choose Quest Hub Path Let me guess, this game will be a long time update game right? Ver0.1~0.2~0.3~0.4~...... I think Quest Hub Path is very suitable to this mode. In Quest Hub Path, you can make many side quests with short but complete story, put some sudden ideas or Easter egg inside freely, and push the main story stage by stage(or village by village). That make each update feel more "Full", and easily attach to next update. To player each new update will be like a new start with a clear first goal: go to the Guild House to take a new quest or talk to villagers in new place. Player can enjoy the content more freely. And if a side quest is very interesting(eh... you know, hit the fetish), player can also enjoy it again by restarting the quest. Why not Guided Path? Already experienced it in GV. Sudden stop incompleted story and long wait with each update is a torture. And always get lost in new update.
I fully agreed, I was already thinking to do this if I was going to do a RPG but wanted confirmation.
