Window Update Pt.1 :)
08.10.2020: -As you all know the windows, doors and everything that had a wall cutout broke after the September patch. I have updated them all and they show up correctly again. Now they also have my icon on them and you can find them in game by typing in 'Felixandre'. Please delete and replace all old files with the new ones. I also got rid of all 3tile versions to deflate your mods folder. These are the windows and doors that I shared publically already and next week I will update the links to the Public sets.

Will continue supporting you through every update, I hope everything can be salvaged. It is really the ignorance of this company that their product is so hostile to the larger community, including CC-creators.
Seriously... I mean the game has been out for 7 years and they’re just NOW allowing us to place windows and doors in any slot. They knew that update would screw us CC users/creators. If they made decent content we wouldn’t have to mod everything 🙃
I havent decided how to handle the updateyet , it just really depends on if everything can be batch fixed, or if I have to manually update them all, or a combination of the two.
Manually update them all. That will be a tedious task, I don't envy you that.
I got the £20, then went down to £5 to keep up after downloading everything put out so far. Will I have to go back to the £20 to get the fixed windows?
Are you going to make previous patreons pay for the updates on needed items? I stopped paying once you abruptly stopped making the items i started paying you for.
Has anyone heard anything about how to fix the windows. I am sick of looking at frames on walls :(
On the Sims4Studio's site they believe that they have the rectangular windows fixed but requested links to others to check if the same fix will work on them. Sims4Studio's batch fix is not out yet.. so I guess we have to wait for another week.

I love the new update to stack window and so on but annoying it has broken such beautiful window and door cc in the process, Hopefully we can have it fixed sooner than later. Was near the end of a palace build using your cc and all the windows and doors from your stunning cc are blanked out. Hope you are keeping well Felix
Hi Felix, I would hope since you're waiting for a batch fix from S4S, you will donate some of your profits to them, since almost every pack I have paid money for over the last few years from you is broken, and we are all now relying on them to fix it.

I've been playing offline, so the patch won't bring chaos to my houses. Once the patch and the windows/doors learn to play nice together, I'm going to build like a fiend! Thanks for all your work!

It looks like sims4studio is in the testing phase of their batch fix so hope we have that soon up and running

Everyone found out that it’s just that the doors and windows don’t show up, but its function is available. I believe the S4S repair will come soon. This is definitely a small patch. Let’s be patient.
Don't worry, this is not a problem of his work alone, all CCs cannot be displayed correctly. We should pay attention to S4S, not pressure him. Do you remember the Four Seasons expansion? Back then it was also a problem with doors and windows. It took a few days for S4S to solve it.

Thank you for your lovely content. I'm working on a palace with some of the old parts for the Swiss building you made several years ago, and PetitTrianon. Any chance you will be able to update them? I suspect it will depend on some patch solution from sims4studio? I feel with you creators. EA managing to wreck things without warning is such a drain on motivation I'm sure, but a fix will be highly appreciated.
I have a question... If S4S is updated and such... Will new fixed windows "replace" my broken windows in game? Or will we need to replace them manually?
Once you replace the original files with "fixed" versions, it should update all the windows in your game.

Omg. This is so sad. We would ALL understand if you need to take some time to fix the windows and not put out new content.
Yeah I just noticed this too, apparently the Sims 4 is unplayable without updating, at least thats what the message that popped up in origin said.
Try going into offline mode. Online forces updates and you can't play otherwise
Don't worry, all the doors and windows can't be displayed. It is estimated that S4S will be able to solve it soon. Who can tell me that the game can be played without updating? I really hate updating. The problem that should be solved has not been solved.
yeah i open origin and then immediately turn of my wifi it then gives me the option to go in offline mod. I go to my game library and i'm able to play the sims from there. You can access you library still in the sims 4 you just cannot access it in create a sim I do this every time there is an update so i can wait until the major issues and mod breaks are fixed

If you take them out of your game, and then save, you will lose the door/windows' placements. However, you can play in a brand new save with no cc windows/doors. Or wait until there's an update hopefully from S4S for a batch.
This is exactly why I don't update my game for a month or two whenever the release updates

No big surprise when a change to how the entire category of items works is introduced, but much like the C&D bed and sofa issue I imagine we'll have a batchfix soon.
You can still walk though doors and you can hear them opening and closing and light still shines through but all that appears is the window/door frame( just a lil diagnosis)
Yeah, so far every cc door/window I have glitches. Take your time <3 hope its not too frustrating of a fix for creators
