🎉 MindWare 0.3.10 Supporters Beta 2
This beta continues Xavier's storyline with a new quest: Cyber Dreams.
Xavier has noticed that Drake pays Cyber Dreams far more commission than anyone else, and he wants to know what BrainFry is getting in return. That means staying late at BrainFry after everyone has gone home, sneaking into the server room, going through Drake's office and his computer again, and finding out what BrainFry actually does with all that customer data. Xavier also has his own way of making sure you stay motivated.
And if you pay attention to Drake's inbox, you might find out that he has plans for tonight. Jessica is bringing something he'll enjoy, and you can stay and watch. 😈
Xavier's message arrives a few days after the Aegis Stage 2 brain scan, once Trix is out of jail. The current end of the quest is telling Xavier what you found.
⚠️ Heads-up: this release is an experiment
I tried something new this time. Amazed by what Claude Opus 5.5 can do, I let it go through the whole game looking for bugs. Over several days, it worked through the game area by area and found a lot of issues that nobody had reported before. Then it fixed them, and every fix went through a second, separate review that tried to break it, hundreds of automated checks, and tests with real saves from your bug reports. That used up nearly my entire weekly usage on my Claude Max 20x plan, so hopefully those tokens were well spent.
If it did a good job, this release could be far less buggy than the previous ones. But there is also a chance that it made some things worse. The fixes touch so much of the game that I can't possibly check them all by hand, so I'm taking a risk here and hoping it goes well.
If something is broken, please shout at me, ideally with the in-game bug report button so I get your save. I can always roll the fixes back, either all of them or just the ones causing trouble.

Fixed: Trix no longer shows up at the office between the night at The Hole and the news of her arrest.

Fixed: Loading a save now shows the saved scene once, so its rewards, costs and stat changes are no longer applied twice, and pressing Back right after loading no longer sends you home.
Fixed: Returning to a scene from the Char, Jobs, Email, Chat or Notes screen, or confirming Settings or Extra Options, no longer repeats its rewards, costs or stat changes.
Fixed: The DevDroid purchase, the Morrison refund, sleeping at The Hole and the SUCKER plasma extraction can no longer charge, pay or skip a day twice.
Fixed: Leaving Delacroix's office, The Hole's crime scene or the Department of Records scenes partway no longer stalls the main story, and saves that skipped to Chapter 2 can sleep again.
Fixed: Starting a new game or skipping a chapter no longer builds on top of an old playthrough, double-clicking Start no longer restarts the game, and Back on the chapter title card no longer opens old scenes.
Fixed: Trix's check-in, band night, jail pickup, morning after, first apartment visit and weekend shift can no longer be lost by leaving partway or by owing rent.
Fixed: Ray's and Trix's BrainFry scenes come back if you leave them early, Trix no longer leaves you stuck at the office, and two scenes due at once no longer cut each other off.
Fixed: The end of Chapter 0, Yuki's check-up after the GitGud incident, Xavier's check-up before neuroimaging, Trix's missed-gig chat and Lena's card are no longer lost if you leave early.
Fixed: GitGud buttons no longer trigger twice, so Xavier's special visit and his reaction to the truth work as intended.
Fixed: Go Back on the city map, job pages, job chats and several apps now returns to where you were, and streaming, the boyfriend's phone and waiting for the maid no longer pull you home from other places.
Fixed: Looping sounds and dream music stop when you leave a scene or load a save, and club music keeps playing after loading or reloading inside EroSphere.
Fixed: The phone's photo viewer closes when you leave or load a save, and the chat icon on your computer's desktop opens a conversation you still have to finish.
Fixed: Ray's reactions to his exploit collection and to the taxi video now count, and going back and forth over the lipstick in AVA's pre-extraction dream no longer keeps changing your relationship with her.
Fixed: Trix at The Hole only brings up you walking her home if you did.
Fixed: The affair job now gives its promised five days in Chapter 2, failed early ByteBunker jobs close their tasks, and a finished prank job always pays.
Fixed: Loading a save made on the morning of Cipher's urgent request now starts it right away.
Fixed: A beta save with an unread Yuki message can sleep again in the public version.
Fixed: The SUCKER workers now arrive after you wake up instead of cutting off that night's dream, and saves where they never came get the installation on the next normal morning.
Fixed: Waking from the alley dream or the first transformation dream now starts your normal morning, including the SUCKER extraction, and no longer sends you to the BrainFry office on a weekend.
Fixed: Sending Ray the taxi video and visiting Trix in jail before the same night no longer skips the second transformation dream and Jessica's first day at BrainFry, and saves from before 0.3.6 no longer lose Ray's taxi video chat.
Fixed: In the supporter conversation managers, each row's buttons now act on their own conversation, the status filters work, and viewing a conversation no longer replays its effects.
Fixed: Passage History in Extra Options now lists the places you visited, its Set buttons apply the value you type and refuse an empty box, and pressing Enter in its boxes no longer opens an error page.
Fixed: The latex maid scene now remembers when you let go at the hospital.
Fixed: When Chapter 1 starts late, Trix's weekend shift is no longer lost to Xavier's break-in request, and her band invitations, her lines about that weekend and the alley dream now come in the right order.
Fixed: Double-clicking a button that ends the day no longer skips an extra day or plays the night twice.
Fixed: A save stuck on an error page now loads at home.
Fixed: Smaller issues with save names, task hints, a missing background image, the Skip button setting, the Chapter 2 skip's taxi choice and a typo in a job listing.
