๐ง MindWare Version 0.3.7 (Public Hotfix 3)
Hey everyone! Here's another hotfix for issues reported after the 0.3.7 public release. I meant to release it on Friday (and I actually updated the online version that day), but then I decided to delay the release of the downloadable version until Monday to give bug reports more time to accumulate. Two new bugs were reported over the weekend, and this release fixes both + everything else since Hotfix 2:
BrainFry should no longer trap you because of low action points. If you woke up with too little energy but still had mandatory BrainFry work to do, the game could block both work and leaving. BrainFry work is still mandatory before you leave, but it now starts even with low AP. Having less AP means fewer attempts in the work minigame, instead of getting stuck.
The GitGud hidden-cam sniffer no longer blocks leaving when you cannot afford it yet. The sniffer purchase still stays available, but it is no longer treated like urgent work that traps you inside the shop.
The Panacea hidden-camera scanner should be much easier to complete, including on mobile. The target is now reachable on very short and small mobile screens, where it previously could never lock, and the scanner gives clearer feedback when you are close and when the signal locks. If it still will not lock after a few tries, a "proceed anyway" button now appears so you can never get stuck.
Opening the character profile right after the post-hospital transformation no longer loops you back through the change. Pressing back from the profile now returns you to where you were instead of replaying the transformation scenes.
A stuck AVA dream save should recover properly now. Older partial saves could resume the DreamWebP minigame with missing or non-dismissible images. The game now rebuilds the missing AVA dream config safely when possible.
Supporter activation and protected-content loading got more safety checks. This should reduce edge cases where activation or content installation fails in a confusing way.
The downloads are also packaged more clearly now. The complete download contains the versioned HTML file plus assets, while the HTML-only download contains only the new HTML file plus a README explaining that assets are not included.

The online version (playmindware.com) has been updated.
If you already have the full 0.3.7 local release folder, you can use the HTML-only download: copy mindware-Version 0.3.7 (Public Hotfix 3).html into the same folder as imgs, audio, and vendor, then open the new HTML file.
If you are downloading the game fresh, use the complete package.
I think the public release is now in a good enough shape for me to focus entirely on content creation again, so that I can give you a new content update soon!
