Dev Notes - 2025-12-26 - Merry Christmas!

Hey everyone, hope you had a terrific Christmas (if you celebrate) and a great holiday season!

Update, obviously I did not emet my goal to get something out before Christmas. New goal is to make a release before I leave for folks for New Year, but if I do not it that for some reason, it will be before my return to work mid-January.

In terms of progress, all the images have been scaled or re-rendered in 4K, and I feel like it generally looks nicer. Because of it, I have had to clean up some old images that simply did not scale well. Also cleaned up a few lighting issues and some inconsistencies related to appendage textures if you know what I mean (not all of them, but the more recent ones).

I've also had to revise the second animation scene with Soumya due to a weird collision problem that made the animation look really weird.

A few scenes were also added where I felt like the transition was kind of crap.

Anywho, it is coming, I promise. Also started making some of the new characters that will be in the next chapter of the story. I am thinking of changing the story separation from "Week 01" to Chapter, because there is no way I am going to tell a story week by week.

Which brings me to a question, do you all care about time continuity as in understanding rpecisely how much time has past, or just having a general idea of days, weeks, months?

Happy holidays!
