Dev Update #107
Hi all, quick check in:
Work is going ok I'm just doing my best not to die from the insane heatwave we have right now. It's 32 degrees today and it is an absolutely terrible time to be working in a well insulated flat surrounded by 3 GPUs running 24/7. You can tell the temperature here by the percentage of men walking around topless with a can of lager and we're at about 80%. I'm probably the only one who doesn't appreciate this weather but oh well.
Even though I have a portable AC that I got last summer my flat has still been so hot these last few days that I've just been working in an air-conditioned cafe on my laptop instead. So these last few days I've been primarily been working on editing dialogue and logic/choices while I try to stay out of my toasty flat and my pcs keep rendering the animations & stills I have queued.
But overall things are going fine. It's actually been quite nice to be somewhat forced to work on the script on my laptop rather than renders as I've had the chance to make some nice edits and additions to some conversations in E5 which I might otherwise have not done. I'm very slightly behind schedule but working hard right now.

Im going through the second week where the weather is around 42-45 degrees rn godspeed
i feel the heat my old trusted rtx-3090-24 on it's last leg's i think. sigh... I did go look at a newer one, my last kidney cried...
See this is why you need the Restore Britain act. All that Somali weather is so un-British. Bring back the grey sky, damp fogs and top hats!

well i for one am enjoying the 32c but i dont have 3 gpu's also cooking me so fair enough
We went for a walk around a nature park today and within 15 minutes I wished a was dead :’)
