Save Test and Future Plans/セーブテストと今後について
Today, I would like to talk about two things.
First, I would like to discuss the save issue that I consulted with everyone about the other day.
I consulted with everyone about a bug where “when resuming the game, the previous save is sometimes not reflected correctly.”
We have since reviewed the save system and have uploaded a test version to this article.
This is debugging data, so the content is simple, but it is intended to verify whether the save function is working properly and whether the previous save is correctly reflected when restarting the game after closing it. Please understand this.
Since it is difficult to verify this on my own, I will need your assistance. If you have any free time, please consider helping with the testing.
You can easily reset it not only from the menu but also by pressing the F5 key, so please make use of this feature.
When reporting a problem, please include detailed information about the situation and how to reproduce it.
Regarding lag,
we have received information such as “Due to a bug in Pixel Game Maker MV, the GPU may not function properly under certain conditions,” but we have not yet found a definitive solution.

Recently, Steam added guidelines stating that “content that may violate the standards of payment processors, card networks, and internet service providers is prohibited.”
For some time now, many people have been requesting that our game, “Princess Reconquista,” be sold on Steam, and I have been thinking about how to meet everyone's expectations.
We have been working to remove any content that violates Steam's existing restrictions on adult-oriented games, with the intention of distributing patches in the future. However, due to the recent tightening of regulations, there is now a possibility that releasing the game on Steam may become even more difficult.
The only solution I can think of at this point is to release the game as a “non-adult-oriented game” and then distribute patches to address any issues.
This kind of camouflage is a common technique in other adult games.
However, as you all know, this game incorporates “sexual acts” into its game design, so it requires much more extensive modifications than the “partial exclusion” we originally intended.
We had originally planned to create a “streaming mode” that excluded sexual descriptions, but due to the recent Steam incident, we have been forced to seriously consider creating it.
It's simply that what I wanted to do has become what I must do...
The production of this title is already significantly behind schedule, and we are not even sure if we will be able to deliver on our previous promise of a release this fall.

今回は2つの事についてお話させていただきます。
まずは先日皆様にご相談させていただきましたセーブの問題についてです。
「ゲームを再開した時、前回のセーブが正しく反映されていない事がたまに起きる」といった不具合について皆様にご相談させていただきました。
今回改めてセーブ周りのシステムを見直しまして、簡単ではありますがテスト版をこの記事にアップしました。
これはデバッグ用のデータなので内容は簡素なものですが、「セーブが正しく機能されているか」また「ゲームを終了して再開した時に前回のセーブが正常に反映されているか」を確かめる為のものですのでそこはご了承ください。
私の環境だけでは検証が難しいので皆様のお力を借りる形になってしまいますが、お手すきの方がいらっしゃいましたらどうかテストにご協力をお願いいたします。
メニューからだけではなく、F5キーで簡単にリセットできますのでご活用ください。
また、ラグについてですが、
「アクツクMVの不具合で、特定の状況下でGPUが正しく動いていない場合がある」などの情報を頂きましたが、まだ確実な解決方法は見つけられていない状態です。
引き続き情報提供を募っていますので、こちらもどうかよろしくお願いいたします。
先日、Steamが「決済代行業者やカードネットワーク，インターネット接続プロバイダの基準に違反する可能性のあるコンテンツを禁止する」といった旨のガイドラインを追加しました。
かねてより本作『王女のレコンキスタ』は多くの方からSteamでの販売を望んでいただく事がとても多く、私としてもなんとかして皆様の期待に応えたいと考えておりました。
従来のSteamにおける成人向けゲームの禁止事項に抵触する部分を排除し、後々パッチを配布する事を想定して今まで動いておりましたが、今回の規制強化により更にSteamでのリリースが難しくなる可能性が出てきました。
私が取れる対策は、本作を「成人向けではないゲーム」としてリリースして、パッチで保管させる手法、今の所それしかないと思っています。
このようなカムフラージュは、他の成人向けゲームでもよく見られる手法です。
ですが皆様もご存知の通り、本作は「性的行為」そのものがゲームデザインに組み込まれている作品なので、本来やろうとしていた「一部排除」よりもかなり大幅な手を加える必要が出てきます。
元々本作は、性的描写を排除した「配信モード」を取り入れたら面白いのではと構想だけはしてたのですが、今回のSteamの件でそちらも本格的に作らざるを得ない状況となりました。
やってみたい事がやるべき事になった、それだけの事です…
ただでさえ本作の制作は現在大幅に遅れており、前回申し上げた「今秋リリース」そのものも約束出来るかわからない状態になっています。
本作を心待ちにしてくださっている皆様、とくに支援していただいてる方に大変申し訳無い気持ちでいっぱいなのですが、定期的なリワードも並行して続けていきますのでどうかご理解と、そしてご協力の程をよろしくお願いいたします。

As someone who has been looking for a new place to buy and support games and their developers outside Steam and Itch (the payment processors censorship movement nonsense), I have found an intriguing publisher, Saikey Studios. Maybe you could reach out to them or inquire if you are looking for a publisher? Anyway, I'm going to request your game on their Discord next month with high hopes! While the sexual censorship is minor I hope to see a fully uncensored version available for us overseas! Keep up the great work from here in the USA! I'm looking forward to buying your game!

It is still under development, so you cannot play the entire game, but we are distributing a preview version that allows you to fight enemies mainly in Area 2 and beyond.
I played this test version for about an hour and tried a variety of scenarios but never encountered an issue with save loading

Hi, I discovered your game last year thanks to a YouTube clip and I loved it right away. Not just for the gameplay and beautiful graphics, but also for the setting and story. I've only just gotten around to playing it because I recently got a computer that can run it. I had trouble starting it at first because I was missing the required DLLs, but I quickly solved the problem by downloading them. I haven't had any issues with saving unless I press F5, which is like resetting the game. The only other issue I've encountered is a black box around the game screen when I try to run it full-screen. Back to the gameplay, I love how you're handling the interactions with the various NPCs and enemies. I was really intrigued by the latest update you released regarding the futa ability, and I found the dancer very difficult to fight. I really hope you'll release it on Steam because it really deserves to be played by as many people as possible. In the meantime, I'll continue to follow you, support you, and play any new updates you release. Finally, I wanted to ask if you'll ever release an Italian version and if I could suggest any new enemies. Thank you so much for this little gem in a sea of constantly being released games. Meaning theoretically, if you wont state that the game contains these things, you should be OK. But as a precaution, you could state as a warning sign that all the characters are 18+ and everything they do is consensual/ they gave consent. Or put in as a lore in a Story? These payment processors care about consent of fictional characters I know, this is beyond retarded... But what do you want from misandristic fake feminist and shady monopoly companies But to be fair. I have no idea why those devs thought it would be a good idea to tag their games as incest and/or rape... rape kink could be stated as (consensual non-consent (CNC)) Incest for many years been protected by the famous Step-(family member) like step sister etc. In your case I would not risk it even with the CNC tag, even though I think Steam will look for other payment processors

I tried the test version for short time, it worked well, no save bugs I saw.
Tested it and everything worked fine for me. With Steam, i have no idea. Maybe just releasing censored demo version to make yourself visible might be better than censoring and changing the whole thing.
The quality of this game is too notch! Take your time to put forth your vision and don't let a steam release get in the way. It would be silly to let steam ruin an amazing thing! We await patiently for this future masterpiece ＼(^-^)／

Hello! I'd like to say that I have given the test a try, saving and loading back the game around 10 times with japanese locale enabled, and 10 times without using it. Additionally, after that I have alternated between the two while occasionally buying something at the store and killing enemies. There have been 0 issues with the save on my end in here. Every time I loaded back the game, the state of Ish's lust, coins, and items have stayed the same, even her position in regards to Tepa. On another note, I am sad to hear about the recent steam censorship fiasco, and I was hoping that you wouldn't be affected by it, as I am looking forward to the game. Ultimately, do what you think is best for you, I understand. I just hope I will be able to see as much of your original intented vision for the game as possible. As others have mentioned, you may simply just drop a patch containing everything and more on the outside, as Steam does not care if someone does this if I recall.

yeah, fuck steam for bending to censorship. If u want to release it on steam i would say the best wey to censor the game is to make a cloud apear in front of the scen an make it shorter, it should be the fastest wey of making it happen from the gameplay side, everything else would be just removing it or more couds so it's properly covered. Also remove the sound lol.
I personally would not worry about a Steam release too much at the moment. It would be best to boost the initial revenue of course but I would personally much rather see you focus on polishing the game to a point where it fits your vision and you wr satisfied with it. A great game released here will spread like wildfire and then you could focus on streamer mode and the like after release to consider a later steam release. Any delay is fine as long as you are truly happy with the finals product and don't have to force it into a mold it wasn't made for 🙏
It's perfectly fine. You are being screwed over by circumstances. Everyone reasonable would not be upset at you for the delay.
