Progress update:
Hey everyone! Wanted to do a quick progress update on how everything is going.
I'm happy to say that I'm finally done updating all the images in the game into atlas images. The game now is at 1.3GB after I archive it. Which is more than 70% decrease from the original size! I actually finished doing this almost a week ago and I was hoping to announce it once the game got approved on itch again, but they haven't responded yet so once they do, expect the free version uploaded there. Up until now, I've been splitting my work between compressing the game and working on the patch, but since I'm done with that, I've finally been able to focus more on the update itself.
The next update will consist of core Jessica route and a side route with Beth, Morticia and Summer. (I'll be posting spoilers very soon) Personally I'm very excited about the upcoming patch, so far it's turning out great and hopefully you guys will like it as much as I do! I've been also working on updating the world in the game to make it feel a bit more alive, but I'll see if that works out.
I can't give an accurate date for release yet since I still have a bunch of CGs to draw, animations to finish and a couple of models I need to update, but I expect it to be sometime in June. I'll make another update post once I get close to finishing the patch. For now that's all I can share, so thank you all for your patience and support! Hope to see you all soon!

Anyone else not being able to see any mindblower scenes?
I’m not sure if this will help but I had that problem I just went to travel then scrolled down and it was there

Anyone know how to run the “family night” scenes? It’s not in mindblowers and I loved that route.
He probably won’t do that cause he’ll have to admit he’s constantly behind schedule
3 Months seem like a long time but consindering what he wrote and what was still on his todo list it seems very reasonable for the time. I appreciate his work nonless the time and I must say he delievers big updates with good storylines. All besides that I would still appreicate some quick news or something so I dont invest in what could be possibly already a dead project what I realy hope is not the case because of what he said in earlier news.
I for sure want him to release the update when he feels it's ready and not rush it but I do agree some more communication would be nice. Nothing to major. Maybe twice a month just a quick paragraph or two. "Hey, still working on the Jessica event. I've been playing around with a particular animation today that I think you all are going to like. Work continues on converting images to a smaller format. While this is tedious work for me there is enough overall benefit to the game that it's just got to be done. Still on track for a release late next month but I want to stress that things can change so give me some leeway on that and I'll make sure to keep everyone in the loop. I'll have a preview of the new event for you in the next status update."
It's a choice to donate, and even doing so does not guarantee he release updates at regular intervals. That regularity with deadlines kills creativity. I don't want that at all. Without knowing what their life is like, what they have to deal with, it's not fair to complain he's not working hard/fast enough. It's also none of our business unless he volunteers it.

i don't get you people stop complaining, you know this man takes his time, I agree its kinda fuckt but i have never commented on it. If it's your first time subscribing to him i understand your disappointment but its like this every time and people are complaining every time when are people gonna accept it takes 1/4 of a year for a patch, it has always been like this. @Likeanevilrabbit all we get is just excuses. 3 months for one update is just to long. Thats fact. When it all started it was every month one update. Then it got 2 months and now 3. In 1 year its only every 5 months one update…
It was never every month. Was two months roughly. With the tech debt he's recently been addressing, the bigger events, the more animations, there just isn't enough time. If it's a problem for you just sub on the months he releases an update.
Theres also alot of extra work ferdaf was working on with this one. Not just new content.

3 months per patch not very swag
It's quickly becoming the standard among developers. Kind of a danmed if you do danmed if you don't. Shorter windows with less content mean you spend more time assembling the build and bug testing vs creating content so you have less to show in a release. Longer windows give you more time to create bigger events or other house keeping task but your supporters have to wait much longer. Three months seems to be the longest you can reasonably between updates. On the bright side the added dev time per update hopefully means the updates are even better than before.
When Ferdafs says soon expect a month, if he says a week expect 2 weeks, if it's a couple of days expect a week with a post saying a few days.
