3D animation skill Checkpoint: 01 - Emma Frost and Psylocke
Hey guys, here's my first 3d animation that I'm sharing on Patreon. I'll number them to see my progression over time. Hope you like it!
In the full video, the first few seconds are by RedMoa, someone I look up to as an animator. This entire video was originally a response his video, which is up on YouTube. The incredible models are done by Memz3D. All the Psylocke and Emma Frost animation is done by me.

On to more important matters. Space Beth won! Not by much, though. So perhaps next patch I'll work on Tricia and/or Jessica. We'll see how it goes. As for progress, I'm still in the writing phase and doing some early CGs. It's hard to draw during this step because sometimes I end up scrapping a bunch of CGs, which kind of sucks. Anyway, I'll make another post if I have anything new to report. Hope to see you all soon, stay awesome!

This is awesome, so different from your usual stuff. Did you enjoy doing it? And thanks for making A Way Back Home, your content is absolutely amazing and the writing is better than any other game out there. Keep being the boss person that you are and I hope life is treating you well!
Don’t tell me you’re moving on from your Rick and Morty project? Granted it’s been like 10 years- wow time flies… But still.
Jesus Christ, tell me about it... But, I've said the before and I'll say it again. I'm not moving on until I give the game an ending.
So the clips look great, I assume the whole VA section is the original... Tbh I though the graphics looked smoother on your part of it too.
The first 2 seconds are by RedMoa (The D.va part). He has a really cute cartoony style.The rest, including the Emma Frost and Psylocke lip sync is by me.

She was! Hopefully, I'll be able to bring her back soon. I had a storyline in mind for her, but I'll have to ponder it for a bit longer before I can commit to it.
Not bad. Does this mean you are gonna move Rick and Morty into 3d or maybe just some clips.
I have considered it. It would make my drawing/animating job easier for sure, but sadly I don't think it's worth it because it wouldn't look right.
