I would like to see Pierre talk about at what point do you walk away. A customer won't do the right thing for the vehicle, at what point do you leave, tell them to go somewhere else etc...
All data or Mitchell repair? Chilton, Haynes, Shop manual books, and mcrofiche.
As a shop owner that's going through this right now, I'd love to hear his opinion on engines rebuilt from companies other than metric motors. I accepted an engine r/r job on a 380SL against my better judgment, and I've been dealing it for a year. Gave in and accepted the use of a company up north.
I am very interested in buying a W123 diesel, preferably a manual, no sun roof. If you can point me to any sellers, I would appreciate it. In the meantime, I’ll keep turning over rocks trying to find a seller. It doesn’t matter what part of the country. I just don’t want a rust bucket but I am willing to put in some sweat equity.

I love Pierre's tech spots for MBCA and his "what to look for when buying" segments. His MBCA video on the R107 saved me tens of thousands. More of these - maybe a little longer than 8 minutes - on how to find and what to look for on cars like the 123/126 etc. I think these attract new viewers which will result in new subscribers.
