Announcement: Primer 219 Delayed 1 Week
With new information made available, we've decided to postpone the M1 Garand by 1 week. We apologize for the delay, but we promise getting these episodes right will be worth the wait. Thank you for the support and y'all's patience!

Well... we had 18 months off with the studio shenanigans, I guess a week is a walk in the park :)
Usually when I am not ready it is because I spent time drinking beer and watching videos on YT. The Professor is much to disciplined for that to happen. (Burrp, another pint please).
Getting the history *RIGHT* is more important than getting it *fast*...
The nerve! Making me wait a whole extra week to ensure I get the best produced and accurate firearms history available! 🫡
I can't wait to find out what the new information is.
Well, technically the information itself is old [being historical], but their access to it is recent, so integrating it in to the existing knowledge base is bound to delay things a little...
That's it I'm writing my congressman. Right after I learn how to read! You've been warneded! <3 C&Rsenal!
Kurzweil solved that issue ages ago: just dictate your letter and let the computer write it for you! Spellcheckers are for sissies! 😂
Understandable. From the latest podcast information, I am confident it will be worth the wait.
When you are satisfied with the product, then it'll be a gracious plenty damn good enough and soon enough for the likes of me!
No problem. I would rather have a more accurate episode.
I remember a long time ago when Ian was at one of the auction houses and they had one of the original Garand's that was in it's original ammo loading. I hope that some of that history is covered. (Fucking MacArthur demanding 30-06 because there was a surplus left over from the Great War.)
Well, he was right; it wasn't the right time or conditions for the USA to contemplate changing to 7mm [6.8mm/.270, but whatever, close enough...] Just like today! 🙄 Ironically, the *perfect* time to have settled on 7mm was when NATO was deciding on what their new standard ammo was going to be, and the US insisted on .30cal... go figure!
Can we get some Determined Idiots in exchange? Maybe something involving that moustachioed supply teacher from north of the border?
Or outtakes from the hand-trap series. That would be fun! But that implies they have more than the usual 24hrs in a day, and I've never seen any signs that anyone involved w/ C&Rsenal/OGS are tweekers...
The only time in my life that I’m sad when class is canceled!
If you need more time I understand. Better to get things right the first time. I look forward to seeing the finished product.
