new interaction "ask to learn how to kiss"
this mod adds a new interaction "ask to learn how to kiss" in four moods with three different and new animations. (the video in the title is an animation from flirty or confident mood)
the idea: your sim asks a friend to teach how to kiss. yes, I probably read too much fanfictions
base game compatible
requires the xml injectorupd. apr. 7, 2025: small update for the new patch!
the interaction will appear only if your sim is teenager or youngadult.
only in moods:
flirty
confident
playful
dazed
only
if you have reached the "good friends",
if you are not related,
if you are not dating or married yet.
I made the animations based on the game interactions. they are all similar, just with different accents.
kissing animation with a flirty and confident moods:
kissing animation with a playful mood:
kissing animation with a dazed mood:
you will find the action in the category "affection" in romance.
moodlets will appear for both sims and they will match the mood.
flirty and confident mood:
playful mood:
dazed:
romance will be added only during the flirt&confident and dazed interaction, but all three actions will cause jealousy.

i dont get the interactions of this mod and the cry mod, is it broken? i updated my mods
unfortunately i’m not sure what the issue could be :( the interactions are working for me just to clarify how they show up: - the cry mod shows up when the sim is in any negative emotion - 'ask to learn how to kiss' shows up when the sim is confident, dazed, playful or flirty please also check that you’ve downloaded version 4.2 of the xml injector - this mod is responsible for making my custom interactions appear in the game

hi! i'd recommend checking if you have the updated version of xml injector installed in your mods folder. it's also important to note that the interaction requires the sim to be in a specific mood (confident, romantic, dazed, or playful). you can also try clearing your game cache — sometimes that helps mods work properly 💖
is there any way you'd be willing to expand this mod and allow it for adults and elders? ;_; i have a few sims that i'd love to be able to have this interaction with! <3
i’m really sorry, but i don’t think i’ll be able to do that, it would be extra work, and right now i just don’t have the time or energy :( but if you’re familiar with modding (or can find a clear tutorial online), you could try editing a few lines in sims 4 studio to make the interaction available for adults and elders too! 💖
