override of the music channel with lofi hip hop
upd. 8.07.24: I'm attaching a short version of this override. in the main file, each song lasts about 2,5 minutes, in the short version it is about 30-40 seconds. I did this because there was a case when the player's game crashed while using a long override. I tested this on different lots and with different numbers of sims, and I didn't have that problem. but just in case, I made a lighter file so that you could switch to it if necessary.
and I found out that the music channel is in the base game, but to make it appear, you need to update your TV. if you use the "TurnOnTV" mod listed below, it will automatically unlock the music channel.
I made this little override so that my sims could do their daily chores under lo-fi, just like me💓
the mod replaces the music channel with three songs from lo-fi hip-hop radio. compositions and picture were taken from this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7GvvbD6S2Y&t=76s (first three songs)
I advise to use this override with the mod: TurnOnTV by SHEnanigans, MizoreYukii
it allows you to leave the tv on. I can’t play without it, I recommend it to everyone.

Привет! Похоже можно уже обновить этот мод?)) Lofi Girl x The Sims - cozy music to feel ooh be gah! https://youtu.be/n2w3VdXRJjw?si=63G2af6ng23LaEPj
if i have a override mod for the watch movies will it affect it?
could you tell me the name and creator of the mod? but in general if that mod only overrides movies then there should be no conflict the main thing is that the other mod does not replace the music channel
Do we download both attachments?
no you only need to download one file the first version is longer and the second version is shorter
I had no idea there was a music channel until today but making it lofi just makes sense!!!
❤️❤️❤️
This is so amazing in game. Thank you so much :)
❤️❤️ thank you very much!
Tysm, I love lofi the most! I wish the game overhauled their BB/CAS mode w/lofi. I always have YT playing in the bg when I'm creating.
thank you!! yeah, that would be cool
Hi is this music copyright free? I would love to use this mod but I make content for YT and twitch and I was wondering before adding it
hi, thank you! 💛 the playlist i used for the mod mentioned that all songs are copyright-free. i also checked using a copyright checker, and the first two tracks are confirmed to be copyright-free. however, i couldn’t find any information about the third one(
I really like this <3 where does the TV cc come from ?
thank you!! the TV on the video is not cc, it is in the game, but I can't say exactly from which expansion.
cc tro bien fait ^^
thank u 💞
I've been looking everywhere for the music channel, but I can't find it on my tv 😭 This would be perfect because I LOVE lo-fi and it'll provide background music without my sims randomly dancing all the time
I searched it and on the wiki about TV in Sims 4 it is written that the music channel is in the base game, but for it to appear you need to upgrade the TV. sorry I didn't find this information out first!😔since I play with the mod "TurnOnTV", it automatically unlocks the music channel, so I didn't even know that it was initially blocked.
hey love! I just wanted to let you know that this mod is awesome! However, it does make my game crash T-T
thank you very much for saying! can you say a little more to what is happening with the game? It does not turn on if the file is placed in the mod folder?
omg ++ thxxx you ♥♥♥♥♥♥
💓💓💓
So good, thank you!! ❤
I'm happy 💓
Loving the lo-fi! What is it?
"a mix of soft hip-hop beats, instrumental parts, vocal samples, sounds of nature, the city and the subtle crackle of a vinyl record." in general, this is simple music that is nice to turn on in the background to study or work 😌
absolutely love this mod!! excited to see more tv overrides in the future :))
🥰🥰🥰 thank you
Wonderful, i love lofi!!!
💓💓
I didn't even know there was a music channel. I love this. Thank you!!
I recently found out about this myself, lol. thank u 💕
