Dev Diary #11 - "The First Course" Arc - 0.7.0

Hey everyone,

Hope you're all enjoying your summer! It's been pretty busy on my end but this is the final stretch of 0.7.0 and I'm heads down pushing so apologies in advance if I disappear a bit more during this period.

A couple of setbacks since last dev diary, I'm doing everything I can to keep the target in place but I do feel there's a risk atm - so keep this in mind if you decide to sub to a higher tier.

One of the character arcs I was building wasn't coming out as I had pictured it in my head. I decided to go back to the drawing board on that character and I had to re-do some scenes.

The other big one was actually sprite work. I've received feedback and I have been unhappy with the Viv/Enzo sprites since 0.6.0. With the remake I never got around to create a proper sprite workflow compatible with the newer models. So I had to sit down and build some pipeline flows... including training a model to make the style closer to older sprites. Took longer than I had planned since it required quite a few tries but it's done and it'll pay off going forward since there's multiple new characters.

As for the update itself, I do want to hit a specific escalation point and introduce a few arcs, so for now I have no plans on cutting it short.
