Post-Release Update Post
Hey everyone,
What a few weeks it has been. Since the start of the final stages in preparation for the release.
Ouch.
It's also been a few days since 0.6.0 dropped and I wanted to check in.
I'm quite happy of where Act 1 ended, and I want to thank you all once again for your patience during the last development cycle and everyone who played it and shared their thoughts.
Whether you loved the ending, had mixed feelings, or want more h-scenes, it's all useful feedback!
Act 1's finale was always going to be a polarizing chapter because it was the final piece for what comes next.
On the Act 1/Act 2 split:
I know some of you felt it was short due to the split. I get it. The original plan included Act 2 content but Act 1's finale kept demanding more attention, more CGs, more scenes to make it work.
The choice was: rush everything out together or ship what's polished and follow up quickly after. I chose the latter because I'd rather you play something in the meantime.
State of the build:
The release has been stable so far. If you're running into any issues, the easiest way to report them is on Discord.
A couple of minor things have been flagged and I'll bundle fixes into a next release. Really appreciate people raising my attention to these issues!
What I'm working on:
0.7.0 is already in progress. This update isn't starting from zero. CGs exist. Script material exists.

And yes, Act 2 is where the exploration theme kicks up. The payoff is finally coming.
Dev Diaries are back:
Starting this Sunday, weekly dev diaries return.
They'll cover what I'm working on, occasional CG previews, and progress updates. Some weeks will have more content than others depending on what stage of development, life circumstances I'm in, etc
On cadence:
I've said this before but I want to try to go back to smaller, more focused updates on a shorter cycle. For 0.6.0 I also had to do a lot of preparation work behind the scenes because of the shift towards Act 2.
With smaller updates the quality goals remain the same but the scope per update comes down.
On the community:
I see the support. I see the constructive criticism. Both are important to me.
I know there's people who've stuck around through the messy parts of development. This game exists because of you. It's not always easy as a solo developer and I don't take that for granted.
If you're new and considering subscribing, you might want to wait for 0.7.0 when Act 2 kicks off. Act 1 is story-focused.
And if you're already subscribed and the wait hasn't been working for you, refunds are always available, no questions asked. I'd rather that than anyone feeling bad about it.
For those of you who are here for the long haul... it's going to be an interesting year. I'm excited about what's coming and I think you will be too.

There are a number of devs who've blown the doors off AVNs. None of them are NTS or NTR specific. IF the player has choices to control the endgame with the same attention to detail and not lose the storyline then Tori is one of very few who could mix the intensity without going down the rabbit holes. Problem is keeping paths organized and coding them in so that choices matter. And indie devs usually throw up their hands. This one hasn't. They can't succeed If you're one of the one's who just keep pushing for more and more corruption or kinks. They have to appeal to a much larger audience than the tiny slice that makes up NTS/NTR. The storyline has to stay intact. This one is on the edge, but doesn't have to go over it to blend a little kinky with all out sexy intensity and still keep the relationship story going. Although a sub NTS cuck doesn't make it easy. There are lots of once-and-done devs out there whose creativity took a backseat to their original intent. Check Itch.io or the local landfills. Tori, keep the space between your ears quiet as much as you can. Obviously, I'm a dev, studio mostly, for decades, now retired. Forest, not the trees, and patch it up later if you need.
Really enjoyed the new update. Keep up the good work. Regardless of what people say this is still one of the best looking vns put there.
A little disappointed with the latest update, it leaned towards vanilla. I was expecting more steamy stuff between Terrance or more in-depth exhibitionism, but instead it's more vanilla, meh.

Disagree. Breaks the barrier into NTR, and it's already razor thin. We're already seeing the relationship being affected and entering the "no going back" zone. NTR is always the loudest, but the smallest slice of Patrons and it brands the dev going forward.
Great game. Although this update didn’t have the scenes I hoped for, I have high hopes that the next update will be good
High quality as always, i'm not surprised there. Concerning the branching and although i'm not against it at this time i think it's a little bit "lackluster". Sure you get some other scenes and depending on the path some other texts but these are all mostly(not all) pretty minor changes. Maybe it will open up in the future.... do not take this as critism, i'm very happy with your game (not with the "release-stress" haha) but as some personal comments.

The discord isn't tagged as NSFW therefore it doesn't require identification/information to join it. Do your research before making any weird accusations. If they start asking for ID, Tori mentioned that he'd find other alternatives.
Havent been following all the updates but when was the Act1/Act2 split actually planned ? end of Act1 didnt feel like proper completion of an Act and no way related to the original. IMO Disappointing update. Quality means nothing without content. Hopefully next release would be better.
Any more info on the how the new attraction system will work? Teased it a while back. Will it show up 0.7? Can’t wait to see them both corrupt each other in day4. What you did with the end sequence for day3 is so much better than the base game (sorry :p) Love how they set more ground rules since they both finally confessed to one another. Gah I can’t wait 😫😫
The idea of shorter releases is, in my opinion, the best one. The story is really good, but to be honest I was disappointed with this update despite the interesting plot. Everything develops smoothly; however, if we judge by real time (the development time), it feels too slow.
