Quick Update on 0.6.0
Hey everyone,
I've been pushing really hard to hit an end-of-year release, but after this week's progress assessment, I need to be honest: that's very unlikely to happen.
As you know, Act 2's theme is Exploration - and in the remake, there's a lot more going on with TQ/SP main routes as well as a character affinity system working in the background to allow more freedom of choice.
I believe I have a solid foundation in place in 0.6.0 that manages this complexity without going overboard. Took a while to get it to feel right, just be patient with me :)
Some numbers:
• 40,000+ words drafted (and still growing)
• 170+ CGs estimated (many still in sketch/color-block stage)
• Foundational work for Act 2 (3D environments, new sprites, coding)
This is the largest update yet, and it's a lot to get through but the script is in good shape (not 100% polished, but solid). Now I'm grinding through CG production, and that's just raw hours of work.
It's the holiday season:
I'm flying out this week and have holiday commitments through New Year.
This year I had almost no time off due to the unexpected work situation so I booked this trip looking forward to some actual rest. I was hoping to finish before then, but it's not looking realistic.
What This Means for You:
If you subscribed expecting an EOY release: I completely understand if you want to pause or request a refund.
No hard feelings - just request it by DM. I'd rather be upfront now than string people along with ambiguous "maybe" posts.
I know this isn't the news anyone wanted, but I'm very happy with this update:
• The story finally picks up momentum (Act 2)
• More details on how routes/choices work with a couple of surprises
• Getting very close to the most famous party in Reivak 👀
I'll keep sharing news, dev diaries and goodies as a small reward for your patience until I go off on holidays, but wanted to manage expectations ASAP.

Played this game many months ago and enjoyed but there was not much content so I waited, and I replayed it recently and just wow, it's gotten much better quality and there's been decent progress, very much looking forward to following the updates closely from now on.
These consistent Sunday updates have been really nice, and help with the wait. The quality of the game so far is what makes me want to keep supporting. I'm happy to wait if it means the release is a banger. Keep it up!

I will not ask for a refund, I am here because it is a good game, it is true that it is frustrating not to be able to play this year, but I liked your transparency, even if it is not this year the update I will be waiting, while the trip that you will make goes easy rest not only is it good but it is necessary enjoy your rest, and happy holidays 😁😘
