Wanna get some of your writing in LL:E 1.9?

Hey gang! As part of 1.9’s effort to rewrite the entire mod, I’ll also be rewriting all the base game journal entries.

Wouldn’t it be fun to have some extra little community-made journals on top?

I came up with the idea of Lost Adventurer’s Journals, journal entries from fallen, retired, surrendered, or enslaved ex-heroines from past runs. It’s just a jumping-off point though, in truth your journal submission can be about anything LL:E-related, or in the world of LL:E!

Here are the rules:

• A maximum of 840 words total. 

• Broken up into a maximum of 7 segments, each with a max of approximately 120~ words. The titles themselves don’t take up word count, so don’t worry about that.

• A short, originally-written story or snippet of a story.

• No canon characters from any other IP. Let’s stick to either LLE or Darkest Dungeon adjacent stuff.

• No illegal kinks. I’m sure you’ll know the ones. I’m not big on censorship, but I also don’t wanna do jail time for LLE, I’m sure you’ll understand.

• English only. I can’t do quality control and spell-checking for languages I don’t read or write.

• No AI. If you submit anything AI-generated to me I get to push you down a tall hill.

How to submit your writing:
