Outfit Options broken and Penumbra

After speaking with the Penumbra people, it seems there is some compatibility issues. Long story short, there are some version compatibility issues, it will be easiest for me to repack it. So I will be re-uploading a version of the latest release that's backwards compatible in a bit!

If you are encountering issues where outfit toggles aren't responding to click or just outright vanish, this is a known Penumbra issue for those that updated to the test branch of Penumbra (version 1.7.0.5).

As this testing version is experimenting with a new version of the .pmp mod file, it's still buggy and Penumbra devs have recommended users to stay on the stable branch (1.6.1.11) version of Penumbra.

For those already on testing branch, or recently reverted from testing branch (1.7.0.5) to stable branch (1.6.11), you will experience issues with mods resetting or broken if you did not follow the revert guide posted on Penumbra discord.

The following is a copy & paste of the quick guide to get your mods working again if you had issue with them.

• uninstall Penumbra

• opt out of testing

• go to your mod root, look for a backup (a zip named json_backup_202607something.zip right in the root), unpack it directly in the root

• go to the backups directory and restore a config (see ⁠unknown)

• unknown:
  Penumbra automatically keeps up to 10 rolling backups of its configuration files in %appdata%\XIVLauncher\backups\Penumbra (you can copy this text into your explorer, %appdata% is a link). The relevant files to backup or copy are %appdata%\XIVLauncher\pluginConfigs\Penumbra.json and the entire folder %appdata%\XIVLauncher\pluginConfigs\Penumbra. Saving these files does not backup your mods themselves, which are stored in the root directory you setup at your first use of Penumbra and are not in any way backed up automatically.
