TAKING A BREAK

I know this isn't the kind of post anyone in our community wanted to see, but the last few weeks have been quite overwhelming for me.
Chapter 5 is expected to have more than 6,000 renders based on the current script. To release it within this year, I've set some nearly impossible deadlines for myself. During the character rendering phase, I need to complete at least 60 renders per day. Then, during the background rendering phase, I need to produce at least 150 renders per day. I've also divided the chapter into sections, giving myself only 3, 4 days to merge the character renders with the background renders for each section.
I've been following this schedule strictly since Chapter 1, and it's finally catching up with me. I'm burned out. Recently, working on Cross Realms has started to feel more like a chore than something I genuinely enjoy.
On top of that, my daytime job has been draining most of my energy, and I can barely push myself to keep working until midnight anymore. Last week was especially hectic because of family matters, leaving me with almost no time to breathe.
So, I've decided to take a short break and try to rediscover the passion that made me start this project in the first place. Knowing myself, though, I'm a workaholic, so I doubt I'll be away for very long.
I'll still be posting monthly content on Patreon, and I'll continue working on the Qi Saint commissions during this time.

First thing u stupid stop making impossible promises I'm fine getting an update even till next year July don't burn yourself dumbo ,also increase your first tier to 3 dollar u won't make shit with this cheap subscription, also by getting more money hire some help who publish time to time render preview to milk people to get money to work on , i absolutely love your project u are nice guy but sound a dumb in field of marketing u should have had like 5k subscribers but why u don't I'm understanding that now ,u focus too much on making quality but not even a bit on selling that

dont worrie take what time you need your game is one of my favorites its heavy in action and not easiest to predict but everyone has a limit and your health is more important even if i hafto wait longer for next update biting fingernails problably eating hands :P GL :)

Yeah man, everyone deserves vacation time. And the last thing we all want is for you to burn out so hard the project goes unfinished. Take some time off to clear your head and get back to rights. We'll be here.
Taking care of yourself is important too. I'm happy to see creators and developers taking breaks, and taking care of their health. Stay safe and have a nice rest.
Of course, please take some time off. And your releases are always of great quality and length. While many devs shoot for 1500 or 2000+ renders, your 5 to 6 K numbers really show you put quality and dedication into your work, and go the extra distance for us. And maybe like another said, split it into 2 parts, no worries we can wait.
Rest is just as important as the job.
I hope you can finish this game and move on to developing new ones. Your theme is indeed excellent and fantastic. I hope you can keep it up. It's indeed challenging to release two updates a year, especially when working alone

Take time off for yourself. Working to hard and to much will only result in you getting sick or worse. And while its something you like to do its not worth risking your health. Do what you need to to get your mind right again. Its an incredible game so we will all still be here when you decide to take back up the mantle of Cross Realms.

As a player I want to live in the world and I want to live in the story, so of course news like this saddens me - but - You are definitely doing it right. The choice here is simple really - either you burn yourself out and we get nothing or you take care of yourself and we get to wait a little longer, but we still get to play. So no choice really - take all the time you need. We will still be here to enjoy the content once it is done 🫂

Ok hey take your time, rest and recover. And when you have energy again, take more time and/or make smaller updates. Better slowly and with fun than under duress where you then no longer feel like it. It would be a real shame if you would hire. But please don't put pressure on yourself because of that.

You have our heartfelt support! Creating an AVN is a large undertaaking and of course you need to recharge several times. And don't forget, Cross Realms is an amazing story this far, an AVN that stands out with its quality storytelling and amazing visuals, and it is truly something you can be incredibly proud of!

take your time, dont put pressure on yourself by saying or thinking that you have to do this or that within so many days or whatever... exhausting yourself doesnt help you and it also wont help the players because it could lead to the project never continuing if the pressure on you is so big that you dont feel like continuing it because of the stress. so... step back for some time, breath and rest. i think im speaking for most players here - at least i hope so
