Early 2000s Tuscan Style Home
A few months ago, I started building a Tuscan-style home and shared a WIP, but I wasn’t happy with how it turned out. So I bulldozed the lot and started over and I’m really glad I did. I love this version. It took me about a week to finish since it’s a large house with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. I took inspiration from Pinterest and real life homes from Florida which helped me capture that early-2000s feel.
I also created a little backstory for the home. I imagined it for a family of three a very popular lawyer in Oasis Springs, his teenage daughter who attends private school, and his new, much younger wife. The daughter sees her as a materialistic gold digger, and they don’t get along due to their very different personalities. To make things more complicated, the daughter’s mother passed away years ago, so she feels betrayed by her dad’s remarriage. One of the bedrooms reflects this, filled with her mom’s old belongings photo albums, her wedding dress, and items from her hobbies.
I think it's a really fun storyline to play with. Hope you enjoy the house!
