Ever wanted all of your sims to not have the same phone with just different colors?
With this ultimate phone override, your sims can have 3 different phone models that they can use
What does this mod do?
This mod brings more than one phone override for your game, giving your sims different devices!
PLEASE READ
Unfortunately, if you want the sims to have different phones, you will have to manually set them yourself (from the case swatches menu), otherwise, all sims will have a white iPhone by default 😅
How it works:
To switch between the 2 models, simply choose either a color with the Android or the Apple logo
Installation:
Simply put the .package file in your mods folder, like any other override!
Minor stuff to keep in mind
This override overrides only the Base Game phone case swatches, if you choose a swatch that does not include a logo, the phone will use the wrong textures and look messy.
the phone wallpaper menu and the phone case menu share most of the swatch thumbnails so you will see the case swatches with the logos there as well, I can't do anything about it unfortunately, that's how Maxis created this whole feature.

As someone who plays both modern and more retro gameplay, I love this! Would it be possible for you to include the SimsiFlip phone with the charms, and the SimsiPhone 2 (specifically the case w/ the stickers)?
is it ok if i make it so 3 other custom phone overrides are in this? for example 2003junkie's motorola razr and ZFG's early 2000s phone overrides? (2003junkie generally said it's cool to do whatever and I'll ask ZFG if it's okay to publish this, when that project of mines done i'll credit ofc) If I can't upload it I'll still make it just for myself

hi I love this phone override its one of my favorites but i think for the latest updated version produced on curseforge on May 8th. there is a glitch with teh black swatch it has 4 cameras instead of 4. the other swatches are fine but that swatch has a extra camera jsut wanted to let u know in case u didnt know. Again love this override

Hey, Love this mod. I was playing around with apricot rush phone overhaul and noticed that if you only have sims with iPhone the cases work Very well together, and it gives like a new look to the ugly brick phone that the sims team doesn't seem to want to update. lol. it does kind of conflict with the android side and the flip phone though. jut food for thought. I was curious if these could be made compatible for even more phone options. :) thank you for your hard work. :):):):)

Didn't know phone phone overrides were affected by the patch 😅 It definitely works for me so I don't think there will be any issues but if there are please let me know 💕
I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but the texture is glitching for me. Sometimes the phone looks black from afar but normal up close.
Check if u have that mizore yukii no fade mod because that causes textures to mess up

I haven't tested it to be honest, BUT, it does say in their compatibility section that custom phones are compatible, however you'd have to remove a file that makes the vanilla phone look turned off (from what I read and understood at least) 💕

hello, idk if its possible but i love the flip phone override from mintyjinx cuz they look so detailed but the creator doesn't seem to be active anymore, can you make these so that they are like this mod (or even add those to this mod so some sims have flip phones and others have smartphones), or at least that they use the phone case picker instead of having to choose one color? 🥺
i was wondering if you could add arnie's plumfruit phone as one of the new models. i was also wondering what do you mean by wallpapers? the phone override wallpapers, or the ui in my game in the phone menu?

Not really understanding how this works. Will this mod allow other non playable sims to have different phones instead of everyone's phone looking the same or is it just to switch between phones for your sim? And when i clicked a different color the phone color did not change
No, sadly this override doesn't make the npc phones randomize you have to do that manually 🥲 And also what color did you pick?

Is this compatible with LargeTaytertots' phone icons and wallpaper override?
Sorry for the late reply, but as long as you only download the phone override file and not the wallpaper overrides, then you're can use any custom wallpaper and icons you want! (though there might be a minor conflict with the thumbnails for the wallpapers, since Maxis made it so the phone case and wallpaper swatches share the same icons, so if you use the phone override there will be the android and Apple logos on those swatches as well)
